About the OpportunityWe're looking for a Business Operations Associate to help run and improve the systems behind a fast-growing creative studio.
You'll work closely with our Finance & Ops Lead and company leadership across recruiting, people operations, finance administration, and internal systems. You'll own important day-to-day workflows while also helping us figure out how to make them better as we scale.
This is a hands-on role for someone early in their career who is highly organized, resourceful, and excited to take ownership. You'll get exposure to many parts of the business and have the opportunity to build processes, automate workflows, and take on increasingly complex problems over time.
What You'll DoOwn recruiting operations, including maintaining hiring plans, coordinating with recruiters, scheduling interviews, tracking candidates, collecting feedback, and keeping searches moving
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, account setup, software access, equipment coordination, and internal workflows
Administer internal tools and systems including Google Workspace, Slack, Figma, GitHub, Asana, and other platforms
Own client invoicing operations, including preparing invoices, tracking receivables, following up on outstanding payments, and escalating issues when needed
Coordinate vendor onboarding, payment requests, insurance documentation, contracts, DocuSign workflows, and other business operations
Build and maintain SOPs, trackers, dashboards, and internal documentation
Help execute company-wide initiatives and process improvements
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive work and make our internal systems more efficient
Jump into new operational problems as they come up and help figure out how to solve them
0 to 2 years of work experience; startup, high-growth, or builder experience is a strong plus
You thrive in a high-performance environment with an exceptionally high bar for quality and execution
You take ownership of outcomes from start to finish and consistently follow through
You are exceptionally organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented
You communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbally
You are proactive and comfortable figuring things out without having every step defined
You move quickly, prioritize well, and bring a strong sense of urgency to getting things done
Experience at a startup, creative agency, studio, or other fast-growing company
Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Monday, Asana, an ATS, or accounting/invoicing platforms
Experience building automations or using AI tools to improve workflows
Work directly with company leadership and get exposure to how a fast-growing creative business operates
Help build the systems and processes the company will use as it scales
Work alongside a team creating brands, products, and stories for some of the most ambitious companies in tech
Grow into broader ownership across business operations as the company expands
