About the Role

You'll be a force multiplier for the founding team – owning special projects, building operational infrastructure, and tackling whatever problems matter most to the business. This is a high-leverage role for someone who wants to learn every aspect of building a company.

The scope is broad by design. In a given week, you might build a financial model for the board, analyze sales pipeline data, create a presentation for a key customer, streamline an internal process, or lead a strategic initiative. You'll work directly with founders on the company's most important priorities and develop a holistic understanding of how startups operate.

This role is ideal for someone with a structured problem-solving background (consulting, banking, PE/VC) who wants to transition into operations at a high-growth startup, or for experienced operators who thrive on variety and impact. The best candidates are intellectually curious, extremely organized, and relentless about driving projects to completion.

What You'll Do
  • Drive strategic projects across functions: sales operations, finance, product, and go-to-market

  • Build financial models, forecasts, and analyses to support business decisions and board discussions

  • Create investor materials, board decks, and strategic presentations

  • Design and implement internal processes, tools, and dashboards that improve operational efficiency

  • Analyze data to surface insights, track KPIs, and inform company strategy

  • Support fundraising processes including data room preparation, investor outreach, and diligence

  • Manage cross-functional initiatives and ensure projects are completed on time and with quality

  • Step in wherever needed, no task too small or too strategic

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or startup operations

  • Exceptional analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling

  • Strong communication skills, ability to structure and present complex information clearly

  • Experience creating executive-level presentations and materials

  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

  • Self-directed with ability to identify important problems and drive them to completion without oversight

  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to dive deep into unfamiliar domains

  • BA/BS required; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus but not required

Nice to Have
  • Previous experience at a high-growth startup in an operations, strategy, or chief of staff role

  • Background in the same vertical as the company (fintech, healthtech, etc.)

  • Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Metabase) or basic SQL for data analysis

  • Familiarity with startup metrics, SaaS business models, and venture financing

  • Experience supporting a fundraising process or M&A transaction

  • Product or technical background that enables collaboration with engineering teams
