About depthfirst

We believe that software is the foundation of modern civilization. Yet vulnerabilities threaten its integrity, security, and resilience. We are on a mission to secure the world's software.

depthfirst is building intelligence to detect and remediate critical software vulnerabilities. We are training and scaling security AI agents to discover zero-day vulnerabilities across large customer codebases and popular open source software.

Our founding team brings deep expertise in data, infrastructure, security and AI, with leaders from DeepMind, Databricks, Square, and Faire. We're looking for thoughtful, driven people excited to work at the intersection of AI, Security, and Infrastructure.

About This Role

We're looking for a BizOps Lead to help us scale intelligently during one of the most exciting phases of depthfirst's growth. This is a role for someone who is hungry to learn, moves fast, and gets energy from working across a lot of different things at once, from data and analysis to operational execution to cross-functional projects.

You'll work across a wide range of workstreams within Finance and Operations, owning execution on initiatives that matter and help a fast-moving company run efficiently. No job is too big or too small. This role has significant room to grow as we scale.

You're excited about this role because you will...

  • Support analysis of key business drivers, pulling data, building models, and helping surface what's working and what isn't

  • Own execution on cross-functional projects spanning GTM, product, engineering, and beyond, keeping things moving and making sure nothing falls through the cracks

  • Drive operational initiatives that need a structured, accountable owner: vendor management, compliance workstreams, process documentation, and more

  • Be the connective tissue across teams, following up, coordinating, and getting things unstuck

  • Roll up your sleeves across whatever the business needs, equally comfortable digging into a spreadsheet and knocking out an operational task that just needs to get done

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in bizops, strategy and operations, consulting, banking, or a similar role at a fast-growing SaaS or AI company

  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with data, spreadsheets, and turning ambiguous questions into clear answers

  • Familiarity with GTM funnel metrics and a solid understanding of how B2B businesses operate and scale

  • Highly organized and reliable, you follow through, sweat the details, and don't let things drop

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by building from scratch

  • Clear, direct communicator who can write well and work across different teams and functions

  • Mission-driven and genuinely excited about AI and security

  • Located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco (this role is in-office)

Bonus Points For

  • Experience at a high-growth startup or early-stage company

  • Exposure to financial modeling or pricing strategy

  • Familiarity with security, infrastructure, or developer tooling markets

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary with meaningful equity

  • Health, vision, and dental insurance

  • Office lunch and dinner (SF office)

  • Hands-on experience across finance, ops, and strategy at a rapidly scaling AI startup

  • Direct mentorship and significant room to grow as the company scales
