The market moment

The way the world accounts for, trades, and acts on environmental impact is being rebuilt from the ground up — and Patch is the platform scaling unified climate action at the center of it.

We move hundreds of millions of dollars annually to the world's most credible climate and environmental projects. Our platform connects Fortune 500 sustainability commitments to the projects and commodities that fulfill them: carbon removal, nature-based solutions, sustainable aviation fuel, renewable energy certificates, and more.

Think Bloomberg for environmental markets. Think Stripe for climate finance. That's the category we're building.

If you've been watching AI-native companies redefine how markets work and want to do the same thing in climate — Patch is that bet. Our enterprise customers are receiving value in cost savings, risk mitigation, and program effectiveness. There are more use cases to build and more customers to earn, plus the equity story still has its best chapters ahead.

Why this role, why now

Business Operations is the connective tissue across Go-to-Market (GTM), Marketing, Finance, Engineering, and Product. As Business Operations Lead, you'll build the systems, analytics, and AI-native workflows that let our revenue teams move faster and smarter, while keeping the rest of the company honest about what's actually happening in the business.

What you’ll tackle
  • Be the business's source of truth: Build and maintain dashboards and reporting that give GTM, Finance, and leadership real-time visibility into what's working, what's at risk, and what decisions need to be made.

  • Identify and close ownership gaps: Find the processes that fall between GTM, Finance, and Operations and design the system of record, the workflow, or the automation that resolves them.

  • Lay the data governance foundation that makes AI-powered analysis reliable: unified infrastructure, quality inputs, and tools that share data rather than operate in silos.

  • Build and deploy AI-native workflows across the revenue funnel: signal-based routing, GenAI-assisted pipeline inspection, agentic deal tracking, and automated data hygiene that doesn't burden reps.

  • Parter closely with GTM, including revenue forecasting, quota and territory design, and pipeline health.

  • Support the business planning cycle: Provide the data infrastructure, modeling, and operational analysis that underpins Annual Planning, headcount decisions, and goals tracking, so leadership can make faster, better-informed calls.

What makes you a great match
  • 7+ years in business operations, revenue operations, or GTM strategy at a high-growth company — you've seen what good looks like and know how to build toward it

  • You've built and deployed AI-native workflows in a GTM or business operations context — not experimenting with AI, running it in production

  • Fluent in modern GTM and analytics tooling (Salesforce, Gong, Clay, Dust, Metabase or equivalent) with strong opinions about how they should connect

  • Comfortable with SQL and confident getting into the data yourself rather than waiting for an analyst

  • You think cross-functionally by default — you don't just optimize the revenue funnel, you ask what's happening upstream and downstream of it

  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and unfinished infrastructure — and you see a blank canvas as an opportunity, not a blocker

  • You think like an owner: you bring solutions, name tradeoffs, and don't wait to be asked

  • You communicate clearly and build trust across functions; you know that getting things done means bringing people with you

What you’ll get
  • A mission-obsessed crew building with speed and sky-high standards

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity

  • Onsite culture in San Francisco with annual global offsites for strategy and team bonding

  • Unlimited vacation and generous parental leave

  • Monthly wellness stipend (mental and physical)

If shaping the story of climate action—while using AI as a force multiplier—sounds like your kind of challenge, we’d love to meet you.

Let’s rebalance the planet together.
