About Paradigm

Paradigm is a new type of spreadsheet for automating manual research with agents. We are based in San Francisco and is backed by 7M+ from General Catalyst, Y Combinator, and the best builder/operators out there including cofounders of Ramp, Dropbox, and more.

Our team is small and talent-dense. We are serial builders who have worked and studied at Google, MIT, Microsoft, Penn, Citadel, Bridgewater, Vercel, and more.

The spreadsheet interface is just the beginning. Our mission is to build a new type of agent-centric workspace that massively increases the productivity of knowledge workers. If you want to work on frontier AI systems that tackle meaningful real-world challenges and push the boundaries of what intelligent software can do, apply to join us.

About the Role

You’ll operate as a high-trust generalist embedded across the company wherever the highest-leverage problems exist. Projects will vary constantly: helping launch new product lines, supporting enterprise deployments, driving operational strategy, building internal systems and analytics infrastructure, supporting strategic partnerships and GTM initiatives, improving recruiting operations, or helping the company navigate critical scaling moments.

This is not a narrow operations role. You’ll work directly with leadership across product, engineering, go-to-market, and operations to help Paradigm scale quickly and effectively. Scope and ownership will be significant from day one. You’ll be expected to move fast, operate independently, and drive outcomes in ambiguous environments with very little structure.

This role is designed for people who want to be close to the hardest and most important problems inside a fast-growing AI company. You’ll build context across every part of the business and become a trusted operator that teams rely on. For people who excel here, the path naturally evolves into functional leadership or owning major parts of the company over time.

In this role, you will:

  • Own high-priority cross-functional projects end-to-end, from scoping and execution through rollout and iteration

  • Work directly with leadership to identify bottlenecks, operational gaps, and opportunities across the business

  • Build systems, processes, and internal tooling that help Paradigm scale efficiently

  • Support strategic initiatives across product, operations, enterprise deployments, growth, partnerships, recruiting, and finance as needed

  • Pull, analyze, and operationalize data to drive decision-making and improve execution

  • Build strong relationships across the organization and become a trusted partner to both technical and non-technical teams

  • Operate effectively in highly ambiguous environments where priorities shift quickly and context changes often

  • Step into whatever work is most important to the company, even when it falls outside a formal job description

Requirements for the role:

  • 3–5 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, business operations, strategy, product operations, or a high-growth technology company

  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and execute effectively with minimal oversight

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences

  • High comfort with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and fast-moving environments

  • Track record of exceptional performance and high ownership in previous roles

  • Strong operational instincts and willingness to dive into details when necessary

You might excel if you…

  • Have worked as an early employee at a startup and operated far beyond your formal role

  • Gave experience as a Chief of Staff, BizOps lead, founder associate, or strategic operator at a scaling company

  • Gave a technical background in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics, even if your career path became more business-oriented

  • Enjoy solving ambiguous operational problems that don’t have predefined answers

  • Thrive in environments where priorities change frequently and the pace is intense

  • Are equally comfortable in spreadsheets, product discussions, customer conversations, and executive meetings

  • Want broad exposure to how an AI company scales across product, infrastructure, enterprise operations, and go-to-market execution

What we believe…

Our best work is done in person. The team works together 5 days a week in our office in SF.
