POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Process Manager (BPM) will support enterprise-wide process and systems transformation across multiple value streams (GTM, Finance, Operations, Partner, Support). This role sits within the Global Business Process team under the COO organization and serves as a key bridge between business stakeholders and the Business Systems Group (BSG).

The role helps standardize communication, resolve conflicting requirements, and foster effective interactions between business teams and technical teams. Leveraging data-driven insights and knowledge of enabling technologies, the individual manages significant business process improvement initiatives beyond incremental changes. This role leads discovery efforts, documents high-level solution approaches and business requirements, and drives business readiness through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, and enablement.

Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Business Process, this role supports the development and continuous improvement of business process architecture for assigned operational domains such as Sales, Customer Success, Cloud Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics and Support. The role conducts gap analyses, designs future-state (“To-Be”) processes using industry-standard frameworks and best practices and improves requirement quality through standardized documentation and prioritization. The position also leads assigned cross-functional initiatives to support timely delivery, risk mitigation, user adoption, and alignment with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical, facilitation, and cross-functional leadership skills, and is effective at influencing stakeholders without formal authority in a fast-paced environment.

This position is based in the San Francisco office and requires in-office attendance Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Business Process Design and Analysis
    1. Support and maintain end-to-end business process architecture and process documentation for assigned business processes, aligned with enterprise strategy and standards.
    2. Lead transformation initiatives by conducting gap analyses between current ("As-Is") and ideal ("To-Be") end-to-end processes.
    3. Leveraging internal SMEs, industry-standard frameworks, and best practices, design future-state processes that are efficient and scalable globally pertaining to Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Billing, Subscription Management, Revenue Recognition, Renewals.
    4. Collaborate with GTM functions and cross-functional stakeholders to gather and translate high-priority business requirements into effective process solutions for New Product Launch.
    5. Solution and document UX requirements thoroughly to ensure solutions are user-friendly, drive high adoption rates, and align with business needs.
    6. Validate business requirements for compatibility with enterprise architecture, data strategies, and system capabilities, ensuring they support global scalability.
  2. Business Process Automation and Continuous Improvement
    1. Lead and advocate for automation projects with the Business Systems Group to streamline and scale critical business processes, leveraging Salesforce.com CRM, NetSuite, Tableau, Marketing Tool and other core technologies.
    2. Introduce innovative solutions by staying updated on industry trends and integrating best practices into process improvements.
    3. Identify significant improvement opportunities using data-driven insights and measure impacts with established metrics and KPIs.
    4. Enhance UX by ensuring process improvements are user-centric, well-documented, and supported by effective training and change management.
    5. Collaborate with technology teams to implement business processes that utilize core technology functionality and minimize customization.
  3. Program and Change Management
    1. Lead cross-functional programs focused on timely delivery, risk mitigation, and alignment with business strategy and objectives.
    2. Develop comprehensive testing plans, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure solutions meet quality standards and deliver stated benefits.
    3. Implement structured change management processes, including training and resource support, to facilitate the seamless adoption of new processes.
    4. Promote continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and incorporating it into future enhancements, guiding stakeholders in improvement techniques.
    5. Maintain a centralized repository for change management materials and project updates to enhance accessibility and knowledge sharing.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

  1. Technology and Tool Management
    1. Evaluate and recommend technologies to enhance the business processes and overall business capabilities.
    2. Plan and execute technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and efficient project delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of experience in business process management, business systems analysis, operations, or program delivery.
  • Exposure to Salesforce and/or NetSuite environments and integrated business workflows.
  • Advanced knowledge of system integration across Salesforce, ERP, internal proprietary systems, and third-party apps.
  • Experience working on multi-team, cross-functional initiatives across functions (not just one domain).
  • Demonstrated expertise in business requirement analysis, technical analysis, business architecture, process design, quality assurance, data analysis, and solution or product ownership.
  • Experience with technology/system development methodologies.

Background Preferred (but not required): 

  • Implementation experience of Salesforce
  • Implementation experience of NetSuite
  • Team management experience

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.

California Pay Range
$96,300$160,500 USD
