Job Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to join our growing Technology team as we invest in AI to support how our teams work across sports, entertainment, and culture.

In this role, you will focus on custom-built internal applications and AI-enable solutions, partnering closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to understand operational pain points and translate ideas into clear, build-ready requirements. You will help identify, shape, and embed AI-enabled capabilities into real workflows, ensuring solutions are practical, well-governed, and deliver measurable value for teams. 

You will also own Salesforce configurations and enhancements where appropriate, helping ensure solutions are well-scoped, feasible, and aligned to how teams work in practice.

Please note that this position is a 12 month temporary contract position to start with the opportunity to convert after that.

What You'll Be Doing:

AI Enablement & Business Value
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify operational pain points across enterprise applications and workflows, and define opportunities for automation or AI-enabled solutions
  • Gather and document business and functional requirements for custom applications, automation, and business intelligence initiatives
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and build-ready specifications for engineering teams
  • Help define workflows, use cases, edge cases, and exception handling to ensure solutions function effectively in real business scenarios
Enterprise Platforms & Workflow Support
  • Support configuration and enhancements within Salesforce where appropriate (fields, objects, flows, validation rules, reports)
  • Help design end-to-end workflows that span Salesforce, custom applications, and other enterprise platforms
  • Help define and document system interactions and data flows across enterprise and data platforms
Collaboration & Delivery
  • Partner with engineers, architects, and product leaders to refine requirements and contribute to functional designs
  • Document current and future-state business processes and systems integrations
  • Participate in backlog refinement, testing, and rollout of new capabilities
  • Help ensure solutions are feasible, aligned, and avoid duplication, unnecessary complexity, or shadow systems

What We're Looking For:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
  • Experience supporting custom applications, internal tools, or platform-based solutions
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements and translating translate business needs into functional specifications
  • Strong experience analyzing and documenting business processes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Ability to understand system interactions, integrations, and data flows across enterprise and data platforms
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce capabilities and configuration concepts
Ideal Background
  • Experience in media, sports, entertainment, or other fast-paced, relationship-driven industries
  • Experience working with enterprise platforms (e.g., CRM, ERP, financial systems, or workflow platforms)
  • Experience configuring or supporting Salesforce (objects, fields, flows, reports)
  • Curiosity and comfort working with emerging technology in governed, responsible environments
  • Experience working on initiatives involving data platforms, analytics, or automation
  • Experience supporting custom application development or system integrations
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes
  • Interest in automation, data-driven workflows, or AI-enabled tools

Base salary range: $120-130K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
