E-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. About the Role 
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to join our growing procurement team. This role is critical in supporting the transition of components and printed circuit boards (PCBs) from development into full-scale production for aerospace applications. You’ll work closely with engineering, quality, planning, and supply chain teams to ensure supplier readiness, cost efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Source and procure PCBs, and a wide variety of related components for aerospace systems.
  • Support the smooth transition from prototype/NPI to production, ensuring supplier scalability and readiness.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with domestic and international suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and support audits.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with aerospace standards including AS9100, ITAR.

What You Bring to This Role:

  • +5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in aerospace or electronics.
  • Strong understanding of (PCB) or other technical manufacturing and lifecycle requirements.
  • Experience dealing with large component distributors.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, organization, and analytical skills.

Extra Points For the Following:

  • Experience with transitioning products from development to production.
  • Familiarity with PCB fabrication and assembly technologies.
  • Supply chain certifications (e.g., CPSM, APICS) are a plus.

This is a full time, exempt position, based out of either our Saratoga, CA or Arlington, TX office.  The target base pay for this position is $100,000 - $200,000 annually.  The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow-ed. E-Space is not currently able to provide employment sponsorship for candidates who do not hold work authorization for the location of this role.
