What you’ll do:

  • Define the Future: Capture and document current-state workflows, business processes, and systems. Analyze existing operations to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Translate requirements into well-defined user stories with acceptance criteria that guide solution development.
  • Promote Product Vision: Work closely with product management to own the product vision for your area, ensuring alignment with Polly’s overall strategy. Be the domain expert, staying ahead of market trends and continuously refining the vision to keep stakeholders aligned and informed.
  • Prioritize & Plan: Evaluate and prioritize product requirements in collaboration with product management. Manage the product backlog to ensure effective sprint planning and timely releases, setting and managing expectations around timelines and any necessary adjustments.
  • Facilitate Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams to break down and document requirements, transforming them into developer-ready user stories and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with Product Management, Program Management, and Engineering to ensure timely and quality product delivery.
  • Measure Success: Partner with product management to define success metrics for each feature and function before development begins. Continuously monitor and refine these metrics to measure product success post-launch.
  • Communicate Effectively: Coordinate with Product Management upcoming release communications, clearly defining expectations for engineering teams.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Collect requirements across different partner teams to ensure solutions are built to work seamlessly with other areas of the product
  • Stay Informed: Leverage research and industry insights to deepen your understanding of customer needs and anticipate future trends. Ensure your products stay ahead of the curve.
  • Champion Quality: Ensure the quality of releases by coordinating testing, UAT, and obtaining necessary business sign-offs. Collaborate with compliance and other departments as needed, especially when introducing new technologies.

What you have:

  • Proven experience in business process analysis and workflow documentation
  • Experience in envisioning, defining, and leading the development of innovative products, with a strong emphasis on user experience and design.
  • 3+ years of business analysis experience or equivalent responsibilities.
  • Hands-on experience delivering products using Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM).
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to guide customers to identify pain points and inform product decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
  • Preferred: Experience in fintech SaaS, particularly related to capital markets, loan products, and pricing.
