What you might expect:
· Advise private and public companies on IPO readiness, debt offerings, and other liquidity events.
· Lead delivery of IPO readiness projects, including organizational maturity assessments, SEC registration statement drafting, and financial statement preparation.
· Coordinate engagement delivery across multiple workstreams, including technical accounting, SEC reporting, internal controls, and finance transformation.
· Provide technical accounting guidance for transaction-related events, including acquisitions, divestitures, debt offerings, and IPOs.
· Draft technical accounting and policy whitepapers and memos.
· Serve as a subject matter expert in SEC reporting and pro forma financial reporting.
· Mentor and lead junior team members, fostering their professional growth through feedback and coaching.
· Maintain responsibility for quality project deliverables, meeting communicated timelines, and proactively addressing conflicts or issues.
· Play an active role in the firm’s recruiting, client relationship building, and business development efforts.
Who you are:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
· CPA license (or equivalent).
· At least five years of experience in public accounting, capital markets advisory, or related roles.
· Prior experience leading accounting and finance advisory projects across multiple workstreams (e.g., technical accounting, SEC reporting, internal controls/SOX, capital markets, finance transformation).
· Strong technical skills with deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS.
· Experience with SEC reporting, IPOs, debt offerings, and private placements.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead difficult conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
· Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities in a professional services environment.
· Professional financial statement and report writing experience.
· Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive in identifying client needs and driving solutions.
