The Change Manager role is responsible for the end-to-end change approach for assigned initiatives, ensuring stakeholders are prepared and supported to adopt new processes, systems, roles, and ways of working. Success will be measured by adoption, readiness, sustained behavioural change, and delivery of agreed business benefits.

  • Own the change strategy: Define and maintain the end-to-end change management strategy, plan, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and success measures for assigned initiatives.
  • Assess change impacts and readiness: Identify affected stakeholder groups, role and process impacts, capability gaps, change risks, and readiness requirements, and keep assessments current throughout delivery.

  • Own training and business readiness: Determine learning needs, coordinate training and support materials, and verify that teams, processes, controls, and support arrangements are ready before implementation.
  • Manage resistance and change risk: Proactively identify resistance, fatigue, and adoption barriers; establish mitigation actions; escalate unresolved issues; and hold action owners accountable for closure.
  • Measure adoption and benefits: Define adoption and readiness measures, monitor outcomes, report progress and risks to governance forums, and intervene where expected behaviours or benefits are not being achieved.
  • Embed and transition change: Lead post-implementation reinforcement, capture feedback and lessons learned, and ensure ownership is transferred to business leaders with sustainable controls and support in place.

What You Will Bring:

  • Change leadership experience: At least 5 years’ experience leading end-to-end organisational change for complex business or technology initiatives, with clear accountability for adoption and readiness outcomes.
  • Financial services knowledge: Demonstrated change experience in financial services, ideally across asset servicing, investment management, superannuation, transfer agency, fund accounting, custody, client reporting, payments, reconciliation, or digital client platforms.
  • Structured change practice: Strong capability in change impact assessment, stakeholder analysis, business readiness, communications, training, resistance management, adoption measurement, and benefits realisation.
  • Influence and accountability: Confidence to challenge constructively, influence senior stakeholders, set clear expectations, assign actions, escalate risks, and maintain delivery momentum across business and specialist teams.
  • Communication and facilitation: Excellent written, presentation, workshop, and client-engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex change into clear, practical actions for different audiences.
  • Delivery environment: Experience working across Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models and using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Xray, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
  • Qualifications: Change management certification such as PROSCI is highly desirable; project management qualifications or experience, including PMBOK or PMP, are advantageous.
