  The Role

The Channel Partner Manager (CPM) owns the full partner lifecycle: finding the right local contractors, pitching them on the program, getting them signed and onboarded, and managing the relationship so both the partner and Aquaria win. You are the face of Aquaria to our partners — part salesperson, part relationship manager, part field operator. You'll split your time between prospecting and closing new partners and making sure existing partners are set up, trained, certified, and producing.

This is a remote role located in Austin/Houston or Corpus Christi, with regular travel. You'll be on the road for partner pitches, site walkthroughs, in-person training, and overseeing early installations.

  What You'll Do

Recruit & pitch new partners

Identify high-quality contractor prospects using Google Maps, Yelp, trade networks, referrals, and cold outreach to top-reviewed businesses in target markets.

Leverage Aquaria's stack of online research and prospecting services to source, screen, and prioritize the right partners in each target market.

Vet prospects against our ideal partner profile and run in-person field assessments of their operation.

Deliver the partner pitch — introduce Aquaria, demo the product, explain the model and the economics, and address concerns (especially around sharing their customer base).

Run site walkthroughs to identify the show site location and move prospects into onboarding.

Onboard & certify

Manage onboarding paperwork — partnership agreement, NDA, data-sharing terms — and collect a complete partner staff directory (service, site visits, installation, accounting).

Coordinate delivery of the Hydropack unit to the partner's facility and confirm they can receive and store it.

Oversee show site deployment: concrete pad, electrical run, install, and commissioning, working alongside Aquaria's ops and technical teams.

Deliver in-person site visit training and manage the phased install certification — remote oversight of the concrete pour, then on-site for the partner's first 2–3 installs before they're cleared to work independently.

Develop a complete integration plan for each partner. Because every partner operates differently — their CRM platform, how they handle service calls, their inbound phone and dispatch systems, scheduling workflows, and more — onboarding means documenting precisely how Aquaria and the partner's operations will connect end to end.

Map each partner's systems and workflows to Aquaria's processes so lead handoff, service escalation, and reporting run cleanly from day one.

Manage the relationship

Serve as the partner's primary point of contact and coordinate the service escalation path (partner handles phone diagnosis and their own techs; escalations route to Aquaria).

Work with marketing to activate the partner's customer base through approved co-branded outreach, and keep partners informed with dashboard visibility into pipeline and revenue.

Keep partners engaged, producing, and growing over the life of the relationship.

Requirements

Must-haves

Proven B2B sales, channel, or partnerships experience — you can prospect, pitch, and close.

Strong relationship-management skills; comfortable being the face of a company to outside businesses.

Willingness and ability to travel regularly to partner sites (valid driver's license required).

Comfort in the field — job sites, contractor shops, equipment — not just behind a desk.

Enough technical fluency to speak credibly about installation, electrical, and plumbing requirements and to coordinate installs (you won't perform them, but you'll oversee them).

Self-directed and organized — able to manage a pipeline of prospects and a portfolio of active partners at once.

Nice-to-haves

Background in or selling to the trades — plumbing, HVAC, water treatment, electrical, or construction.

Experience standing up or managing a channel/dealer/franchise program.

Familiarity with contractor CRM systems (e.g., ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro) and marketing/CRM tools.

Interest in water technology, sustainability, or off-grid/resilience products.

Benefits

Why Join Aquaria

  • Competetive salary and commission
  • Get in early on a category-defining water technology at a pivotal growth stage.
  • Own a role with real scope and autonomy — you build and manage your own book of partners.
  • A model that's genuinely good for everyone: partners earn, customers get water independence, and communities gain resilience.
  • Remote flexibility with the variety of real field work and travel.
