We are looking for a Channel-based Sales Engineer to be a strong technical resource for the Cato Network’s Channel team. In this role, you will be the technical face to our prospective and current partners. Working closely with Channel Account Managers you’ll enable, support, and grow the partner technical community.  You should be skilled at building relationships and explaining technology and product positioning to both business and technical users as well as passionate about understanding technical issues to ensure complete Partner satisfaction through all stages of the Channel enablement process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical overviews and demonstrations to our partners
  • Deliver technical training on SASE, networking and security tailored to the audience
  • Presenting the product to partners at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
  • Travel throughout partner territory 

Requirements 

  • 4+ years of Pre-Sales or Consulting experience working with network and/or cloud security products in a customer-facing role
  • Proven track record in software sales
  • Comprehensive understanding of networking technology, including: 
    • LAN and WAN technologies
    • Switching and routing
    • Security (Firewalls and Filtering technologies)
    • Cloud 
  • Strong presentation skills and written communication in emails, RFPs, and reports
  • Organized, analytical, creative and adaptive in approach and finding solutions
 
A reasonable estimate of the OTE for this role, at the time of posting, is $230,000–$250,000.
Cato provides the pay range for open roles to help align with candidate needs. Exact compensation may vary based on skill set, experience, location, training, and certifications.
