Textio is at a turning point: new product in market, new operating model, a lot of moving pieces. We need someone who can translate strategy into action, cut through organizational friction, and make sure the things that matter actually get done.

This role touches everything. You'll work across every function, sit in on the conversations that shape where we're going, and own outcomes that directly impact our trajectory. It's high-intensity, high-stakes, and probably the fastest way to learn what it actually takes to scale a company.

San Francisco–based. 1–3 days in person. This is not a 40-hour-a-week job. The pace is demanding, the learning curve is steep, and the work carries outsized impact.

Your Role

In this full-time position, you will:

  • Run the operating rhythm of the company. You'll own leadership team coordination, planning cycles (quarterly and annual), and make sure priorities stay aligned across functions.
  • Be the connective tissue between strategy and execution. When something's falling through the cracks or a project needs someone to drive it home, that's you.
  • Own board prep and executive communications. You'll prepare materials, shape the narrative, and make sure we're telling a clear, accurate story to stakeholders.
  • Translate customer signal into action. You'll sit close to what customers are telling us and help turn those insights into decisions that move the product and company forward.
  • Support the CEO's external presence. This includes LinkedIn, social content, podcast prep, and research—making sure it's sharp and aligned with how we talk about ourselves.
  • Find the gaps and fix them. You'll spot where we're losing momentum or operating inefficiently, and propose solutions before things break.
What we're looking for
  • 3+ years in a startup, high-growth, or consulting environment
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and supporting executive leadership
  • Strong data skills —you're comfortable digging into numbers and turning them into decisions
  • Clear, sharp communication skills—written and verbal
  • You have a bias toward experimenting with AI and helping the team adopt what actually works
  • Familiarity with tools like PostHog, Salesforce, and AI applications (Claude, Motion, etc.) is a plus
The kind of person who thrives here
  • You're organized but not rigid—comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • You default to action and figure things out as you go
  • You're curious, low-ego, and energized by learning new things fast
  • You can zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in to fix the details
Success Looks Like
  • The core directive of this role is to enable the CEO to operate at a higher altitude by owning clarity, alignment, and follow-through across the organization.
  • Everyone moves faster and with more confidence because priorities are clear and execution sticks.
What Makes This Role Special

Real ownership over outcomes that matter. Exposure to every part of the business—strategy, operations, product, go-to-market. You'll work on problems that don't have obvious answers and build the muscle to solve them anyway. It's the kind of reps that usually take a decade to accumulate, compressed into a much shorter window. We're building something that matters, and this role puts you at the center of it.

The salary range for this role is $155k-$185k; determined by interviews, experience, skills, equity, and market data. More benefit and equity info available on request.

We believe that great work happens when people feel trusted, supported, and respected. At Textio, we’re committed to building a workplace where high performance and inclusivity go hand-in-hand—and where people from all backgrounds have room to thrive.
