The Role

As Chief of Staff to CEO, you will function as an extension of the CEO, combining elements of a strategic operator and a trusted right-hand partner. You’ll enable the CEO to focus on high-impact decisions by materializing and enforcing their vision, managing priorities, facilitating communication, and driving operational execution across the company.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and wants to play a pivotal role in building and scaling a company from the ground up.

What You’ll DoExecutive Partnership & Enablement
  • Vision & Alignment: Materialize, structure, and enforce the CEO's vision and guidance across the organization.

  • Meeting Operations: Coordinate and facilitate high-stakes CEO meetings with other executives and external partners. Draft agendas, prepare materials, take notes, and drive full ownership of action items.

  • Strategic Research: Perform fundamental research on specialized topics requested by the CEO to inform decisions and new initiatives.

  • Executive Materials: Prepare high-quality executive materials, including pitch, sales, and investor update decks.

  • External Relations: Support and manage ongoing relations with investors and corporate partners.

Core Operations Management
  • Operational Ownership: Own, design, and continuously improve core business operations across key functions:

    • Recruitment & People: Manage talent pipelines, support hiring needs, and oversee employee onboarding and integration.

    • Financials & Sales: Track key seed-stage KPIs, build dashboards, and support sales operations.

    • Compliance: Ensure the company meets necessary regulatory and operational compliance standards.

  • Internal Tooling & Systems: Own and optimize the company's internal tech stack, with a focus on:

    • AI-driven automation and modern internal documentation.

    • HR and payroll systems.

    • Employee device management.

Office & Event Operations
  • Office Management: Oversee daily office operations and maintain building management relations. Manage inventory, desks, and A/V systems (collaborating with vendors where necessary).

  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute company events with vendor support, including team dinners, hackathons, and investor hosting.

  • Lightweight Logistics: Handle critical day-to-day administrative tasks, including travel arrangements and expense reports.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, consulting, chief of staff, or high-level EA roles within fast-growing tech environments.

  • Tech & AI Savvy: Comfortable leveraging AI-driven automation tools and managing modern systems like Rippling and Apple device management.

  • Execution Focus: Proactive, resourceful, and entirely comfortable owning outcomes with minimal oversight.

  • Communication & Structure: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to turn abstract ideas into structured, professional materials (decks, dashboards, reports).

  • Adaptability: Highly adaptable—thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments where priorities can shift quickly.
