The Role: As Chief of Staff (COS) to the GVP of US Public Sector you will work side by side with our VPs and AVPs often in confidence, serving as a critical extension of their vision, leadership, and voice. You will connect dots, elevate insights and trends, and generate ideas. You will be a key driver of any number of strategic initiatives, and you will help shape and amplify the intent and the messaging of the GVP, both internally and externally.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $189,100 - $295,500, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs.
Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.

- Create structure and focus for ambitious ideas that the team is exploring and bring forth recommendations for action in a timely manner
- Drive cross-functional process around setting the go-to-market strategy, forming a plan, executing, and monitoring progress
- Drive the priorities of the executive team by setting agenda, creating content, for weekly meetings, shape off-sites, and identifying opportunities to increase team effectiveness
- Communicate priorities, activities, and results to the larger organization, while ensuring deliverables are met
- Customer Engagement - interacting with, addressing concerns, and being the point of contact for business needs.
- Identify and take on ad hoc strategic projects - everything from defining new opportunities to executing cross-functional initiatives and closing the gaps in business and operations
- Coordinate a regular cadence across the divisional and functional leaders of the generation and validation of the key operational metrics needed for weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings with senior leadership
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop the annual objectives and coordinate organization-wide goals. Report quarterly accomplishments to the company
- Capture major takeaways, maintain milestones, and track, assign and drive the delivery of clear action items. Work with leadership team to escalate key issues that are stalled

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
- 10-15+ years total work experience; prior experience as a Chief of Staff / Experience in Public Sector (US Federal and SLED Sales).
- Superb leadership and influencing skills
- Experience within a Sales organization or environment.
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams, either in a direct or indirect/matrixed capacity
- Ability to motivate others, drive collaboration, teaming & resolve conflict between diverse stakeholder groups
- Passion for and demonstrated success understanding and fulfilling internal or external customer needs; problem-solver mindset
- Sharp business judgment, ability to see "big picture" and to prioritize
- Executive presence, strong verbal, and written communication
- Event coordination experience
- Ability to manage change and ambiguity with an action-orientation/drive - must thrive in a dynamic environment
- High energy, strong work ethic, disciplined execution skills, willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver results
- Must be willing to travel
