At Navi, speed and execution are everything. As we build the AI co-pilot for aviation, we need a trusted operator to keep our team sharp, our missions aligned, and our operations running at full throttle. The Chief of Staff will be the connective tissue between founders, engineers, pilots, schools, and defense partners, ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks as we scale from scrappy startup to aviation’s new standard.
ResponsibilitiesOperational Command: Own the day-to-day execution that keeps Navi moving — from managing vendors and ordering critical gear, to ensuring our deployments at flight schools and Air Force bases run smoothly.
Field Presence: Travel to flight schools, commercial operators, and military squadrons. Gather intel, build relationships, and bring back insights that shape product and strategy.
Partner Engagement: Support business development by representing Navi credibly with universities, airlines, and defense leaders.
Internal Alignment: Drive clarity and accountability across the team — set priorities, run weekly reviews, and help unblock engineers and junior staff.
Special Missions: Take on high-impact projects directly from the founders — the kind that don’t fit neatly into any role, but are critical to winning.
Proven track record in operations, consulting, military/aviation leadership, or fast-moving startups.
A builder’s mindset: no task is too small, no mission too ambitious.
Clear communicator who inspires confidence with both teammates and external partners.
Comfortable switching gears between strategic planning and tactical execution.
Organized, decisive, and relentless about follow-through.
Excited to travel, embed with pilots, and live the aviation mission firsthand.
As Chief of Staff, you’ll be more than an operator — you’ll be a force multiplier for the founders and the company. You’ll ensure Navi executes with precision, scales with discipline, and never loses momentum. This role is designed to grow into Head of Operations or COO as we expand.
What You’ll GetEarly-stage equity — real ownership in the future of aviation and defense.
Direct impact — your work will be visible in every deployment, every school, every squadron.
Flight training — earn your pilot’s license alongside the team, gaining the same domain expertise you’ll help scale.
Community — join a crew of builders, pilots, and innovators shaping America’s aviation edge.
