Make an Impact Where Accounting, Technology, and Business Operations Come Together

At Rehmann, we help organizations improve performance through the right combination of people, processes, and technology. We're looking for a Client Accounting Implementation Manager to lead client transformation projects that improve accounting operations, streamline workflows, and support business growth.

This role is ideal for a solution-oriented professional who enjoys leading projects, improving processes, leveraging technology, and helping clients navigate change. You'll work with business owners, finance leaders, and internal teams to implement solutions that create lasting value while strengthening client relationships and supporting long-term success.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead client implementation, process improvement, and technology optimization projects from discovery through transition.
  • Partner with clients to understand operational challenges, identify opportunities, and develop practical solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Evaluate current accounting and business processes and recommend improvements that support scalability, consistency, and stronger business outcomes.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, stakeholder communication, and implementation activities.
  • Facilitate client meetings, workshops, training sessions, and project status updates.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by providing proactive recommendations and guidance throughout the client journey.
  • Support technology implementations, workflow redesigns, system enhancements, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, process maps, training materials, and implementation best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and introduce additional advisory, technology, and operational solutions.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, business trends, and process improvement strategies that help clients operate more effectively.

Professional Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, consulting, business operations, project management, process improvement, technology implementation, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting operations and business processes.
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements, projects, or initiatives simultaneously.
  • Track record of solving problems, improving processes, and driving successful outcomes.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Project Management & Process Improvement

  • Ability to organize and lead projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Experience documenting processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing improvements.
  • Strong planning, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage change and guide clients through new processes and solutions.

Technology & Innovation

  • Strong technology aptitude and interest in learning new systems and applications.
  • Experience working with business software, accounting technology, workflows, integrations, or operational platforms.
  • Ability to assess technology solutions and align them with business objectives.
  • Interest in automation, AI, process optimization, and emerging business technologies.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into practical business recommendations.
