ABOUT US

At Vida, we help people get better- and we're helping the healthcare system get better, too.

Vida is a virtual, personalized obesity care provider that uses evidence-based treatment to help patients manage obesity and related conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety and depression. Vida's team of Obesity Medicine-Certified Physicians, Registered Dietitians, Expert Coaches and Licensed Therapists takes a whole-person approach to care, helping people lose weight, reduce stress and improve their overall health.

By combining advanced technology with top-notch healthcare providers, Vida is breaking down the barriers that have historically kept people from getting the best care. It's trusted by Fortune 100 companies, major national payers and large providers to enable their employees to live their healthiest lives.

As a Client Success Director at Vida, you'll play a key role in understanding the needs and priorities of Vida's clients. You'll serve as "the face of Vida," delivering an exceptional experience at every touchpoint in the client journey — with particular focus on assigned Vida PBM partnerships (e.g., CVS, ESI, Optum). This includes close collaboration with partners, clients, and internal teams to help shape and execute Vida's operational business strategies and programs.

Success in this role requires strong communication, relationship-building, and business judgment — from performing data analysis to leading cross-functional projects with teams like sales and marketing, as well as external partners.

If you thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoy working closely with internal and external partners and clients, want to be at the forefront of healthcare innovation, and think strategically about business and partnership opportunities, this role could be a great fit for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of health plan and PBM processes as they relate to integrating and implementing Vida's products and services.
  • Serve as the face of Vida to clients and partners, ensuring their satisfaction while driving Vida's success throughout the relationship.
  • Own the end-to-end client relationship — from planning and launch through ongoing management and renewal.
  • Own the end-to-end relationship with assigned Vida PBM partners, including planning, relationship building, developing and executing action plans, and reporting progress and risks to relevant Vida stakeholders.
  • Champion Vida's mission and value proposition, using data and storytelling to bring our impact to life for both clients and internal teams.
  • Understand and prioritize the needs of clients and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue up-sell opportunities.
  • Deliver analysis and strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, engineering, analytics, sales, and marketing to advance Vida's goals and drive client success.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7+ years of experience in account management, sales, customer success, or other client- and stakeholder-facing roles, ideally within health tech or the broader healthcare industry.
  • Solid understanding of the healthcare landscape, including major relevant legislation and key industry players.
  • Familiarity with healthcare administration processes, particularly health plans and PBMs.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with leadership, both internally and externally.
  • Self-starter who thrives independently or as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Experience driving operational readiness for implementations, including project management, building consensus, and developing solutions for client/partner customizations.
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities and exercising sound judgment on complex issues.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, with the ability to prioritize strategically.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
  • Organized, collaborative, and team-oriented.
  • Proficient with web and mobile technologies.
  • Skilled in presentation, spreadsheet, and project planning/management tools.
  • Genuine passion for Vida's mission.
  •

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
