The Clinic Physician plays a vital role in collaborating with both clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure the seamless delivery of healthcare services at our Biograph clinic in San Mateo, CA. Beyond providing direct patient care, the Clinic Physician, in partnership with the Medical Director, implements and evaluates the Biograph Method to uphold the highest standards of care for all members. This role also involves sharing in key administrative responsibilities that influence the clinic’s medical services, while working closely with the Medical Director and management team to drive strategic planning and optimize overall service delivery. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provides direct patient care to members both in clinic and via telemedicine.

  • Collaborates with staff on the integration of medical services into Biograph San Mateo’s overall comprehensive membership program.

  • Maintain an accurate and detailed record of patient interactions within the EMR and ensure all documentation complies with current healthcare regulations and standards

  • Generates personalized insights and recommendations for members based on their multi-disciplinary data, in collaboration with the clinic Medical Director and clinical staff. 

  • Provide ongoing support and encourage adherence to treatment plans by building and maintaining strong relationships with patients

  • Contributes to an environment of innovation, continuous improvement and service excellence. 

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in healthcare to improve patient outcomes and drive continuous improvements

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

  • At least 6 - 8 years experience physician experience outside of residency

  • Current unrestricted CA medical license

  • Passion and expertise in the science of aging and longevity

  • Comfortable in a fast paced, highly flexible start-up environment

  • Ability to provide high-touch, concierge level care to a sophisticated member base.

  • Proficient with G-suite and adaptable to learning new software

  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records System and HIPAA compliance requirements

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with both members and colleagues.

  • Ability to work in our San Mateo clinic 5 days a week, no nights or weekends.
