About Eleanor Health

At Eleanor Health we are helping people affected by addiction  live amazing lives. We work to fulfill this goal by building and growing the first addiction and mental health services provider designed to deliver a longitudinal, whole-person, value-based model of care for each community member. Our team is ambitious and committed to this unique opportunity, and understands the importance of attracting strong and experienced talent to make our vision for Eleanor Health a reality every day, and for every recovery journey we are entrusted to be a part of.

About the Role

Eleanor Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Compliance professional to support our national team during a period of significant organizational growth. This is a high-impact contract engagement for someone who works well independently, moves quickly, and brings deep expertise in healthcare compliance — no ramp-up time required.

You will contribute directly to Eleanor's licensure, accreditation, and quality functions, supporting our ability to serve patients across existing and new markets. Eleanor Health is actively building its long-term compliance leadership structure, and exceptional contractors may be considered for full-time roles as the organization evolves.

What You'll Do

This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role. You will be stepping into a gap that spans compliance operations, licensure, accreditation, and quality — across both established and emerging markets. Specifically:

Licensure & Accreditation

  • Support compliance with state licensure requirements and CARF accreditation standards across multiple states
  • Assist in preparing for external audits and surveys (onsite and virtual); participate in internal mock audits
  • Help maintain compliance portals and internal documentation

Policies, Procedures & Quality

  • Assist in maintaining and updating the organization's policy and procedure library
  • Conduct chart audits and document findings for review by compliance leadership
  • Support case studies and after-action reviews for critical incidents
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement projects

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

  • Assist in compiling compliance data for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Support compliance training efforts for Eleanor teammates as needed
  • Communicate findings and updates clearly to compliance leadership

You'll Be a Good Fit If You:

  • Bring 3–5 years of healthcare compliance experience, ideally in behavioral health, SUD, or outpatient clinical settings
  • Have familiarity with CARF accreditation standards
  • Have experience researching multi-state clinical licensure requirements
  • Are a careful, detail-oriented chart reviewer with strong clinical documentation knowledge
  • Write clearly and can translate compliance requirements into organized, practical documentation
  • Have project management experience and can manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Are comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Are proficient in G-Suite, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Bonus:

  • Lean Six Sigma or formal quality improvement training
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth healthcare environment
  • Familiarity with EHR systems (Athena experience is a plus)
  • Active clinical licensure (LCMHC, LCSW, LCAS, or RN)

Compensation & Benefits

The total target compensation range for this position is $30-35 an hour. The actual compensation offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.

This is a contract role and is not eligible for benefits.
