Manage clinical strategy and operations, launching new services and optimizing workflows while leveraging data for performance reporting and growth strategy.
About Sprinter Health:
At Sprinter Health, our mission is reimagining how people access care by bringing it directly to their homes. Nearly 30% of patients in the U.S. skip preventive or chronic care simply because they can’t get to a doctor’s office. For many, the ER becomes their first touchpoint with the healthcare system—driving over $300B in avoidable costs every year.
By using the same technologies that power leading marketplace and last-mile platforms, we deliver care where people are, especially those who need it most. So far, we’ve supported more than 2 million patients across 22 states, completed 130,000+ in-home visits, and maintained a 92 NPS. Our team of clinicians, technologists, and operators are backed by investors like a16z, General Catalyst, GV, and Accel.
About The Role:
Sprinter Health is seeking a highly motivated Manager of Clinical Strategy & Operations to drive critical business & care goals, operating at the intersection of clinical excellence, business strategy, and product innovation. This is a very unique role, serving as a trusted partner and strategic leader who can drive action by seamlessly flexing across domains, translating challenges and ideas between stakeholders who think and work very differently.
This isn’t your traditional strategy role where you hand off a deck and hope it gets built. This is a role for a builder who wants to get their hands dirty and is driven to rebuild healthcare for the better. We’re looking for someone who runs through walls to solve problems, is endlessly curious, and has an insatiable appetite for learning and upskilling themselves and others. You should love problem solving, be able to appreciate both the forest and the trees, and know how to drive velocity while bringing your teammates along for the ride. If you’re looking for a place to learn rapidly, work with a talented & fun team, flex every part of your brain (from clinical care to vibe-coding SQL queries), and drive clinical impact at scale – this is it.
Office Location:
We are a hybrid company based in the Bay Area with offices in both San Francisco & Menlo Park. We care about work-life balance, and understand that there will be times where flexibility is needed.
What you will do:
- Launch New Clinical Services: Lead the discovery and execution of new service lines and care offerings for patients. You will develop strategic frameworks, run ROI analysis, drive workflow design, and help oversee pilots.
- Drive Clinical Intelligence: Vibe code your way through our data stack. You will write SQL queries and build BI dashboards to answer critical business questions, drive strategy, and support clinical leaders with performance reporting , operational metrics, and quality tracking.
- Optimize Clinical Operations: Build and validate end-to-end clinical workflow maps to identify friction points and opportunities. You’ll work closely with our clinical team to help chart our path towards best-in-class care.
- Bridge the Gap: Enable our clinical leaders to better understand our workforce and drive process improvements, partnering to marry up field insights with data.
- Strategize Growth: Help chart out Sprinter’s growth strategy, identifying new opportunities that simultaneously drive patient impact and business outcomes.
What you have done:
- Business Experience: 3-5+ years in a high-growth startup, management consulting, or a Strategy/BizOps role.
- An MBA is a plus but not required
- Technical Comfort: You don't need to be a data engineer, but some (even if minor) experience with coding, informatics, or data is preferred.
- Curiosity & Upskilling: You should be leveraging AI as a core part of your everyday work to upskill yourself and do more with less
- Communication Skills: Ability to synthesize complex cross-functional information into clear recommendations and strategies for leadership.
The Interview Process:
- We aim to complete the interview process between 2-3 weeks. It will usually consist of:
- Recruiter Screen (30-Minutes)
- Hiring Manager Introduction (30-Minutes)
- Assessment (45-Minutes)
- Onsite Interview
