Vantor’s Mission Control Infrastructure DevOps (MCID) Team is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Westminster, CO. In this position, you will use your experience to support key infrastructure and applications in our AWS-based cloud environment.

This is a hybrid role, supporting mission-critical infrastructure for internal stakeholders in both Westminster and Longmont, CO, typically working on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (and as needed) and remotely on Monday and Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, deploy, and administer AWS container-based environments (both production and non-production) in support of mission-critical applications via CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensure security compliance through regular patching and overall vulnerability management
  • Work with leadership in managing infrastructure lifecycle
  • Assist in installation of software development and engineering tools
  • Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and projects as related to cloud environment support
  • Provide modest-level of 24x7 on-call support of key systems
  • Produce and maintain configuration and maintenance documentation

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Minimum of an Active Security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related major, such as computer science, electronic engineering, or computer engineering. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Deep AWS knowledge and experience in creating, deploying, and managing containerized workloads
  • Experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes (EKS), K8s and Rancher
  • Infrastructure-as-code experience, preferably Terraform
  • Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tooling
  • Experience scripting in Python, Ruby, Bash, etc
  • Implementing and maintaining security and compliance measures, particularly the investigation and resolution of vulnerabilities
  • Work as part of a team to ensure configuration management and app performance
  • Interest in automation and creating repeatable infrastructure patterns

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HashiCorp Vault
  • Experience with Helm Charts
  • Experience with Elastic
  • Experience with Agile development practices

Pay Transparency: To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings. Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate’s experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.

● The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $102,000.00 - $136,000.00 - $149,600.00 annually. 

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
