Job Purpose and Impact
The Cloud Platform Engineer will help build the foundation for the company's modern business applications. In this role, you will apply your knowledge of modern infrastructure and cloud software engineering practices to build, secure, and maintain the core capabilities used by our data and application teams to drive business value.
Key Accountabilities
  • Partners to design and develop high quality software solutions by writing clean, maintainable and efficient codes.
  • Applies internal software deployment platform, continuous integration or continuous delivery pipeline and twelve factor development methodology to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases.
  • Partners with cross functional team of product managers, designers and other engineers to gather moderately complex requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Writes and maintains moderately complex unit tests and integration tests, and performs debugging to maintain the quality and performance of the software, applying test driven development as needed.
  • Identifies and suggests options for improving the software development and deployment processes, and implements the approved standards to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Drafts and maintains comprehensive documentation for moderately complex software applications, deployment processes and system configurations.
  • Provides technical support and troubleshooting for moderately complex issues with deployed applications to ensure minimal downtime and fast resolution.

Qualifications
  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with AWS cloud technologies, including EC2, security groups, Auto Scaling Groups (ASG), S3, and IAM.
  • Experince scripting and programming, including languages such as - Terraform, Golang or Python

Additonal:
  • The business will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position
  • This position requires onsite (hybrid) presence at our Midtown Atlanta Technology Hub
