Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE: 

Follow instructions of Chef to properly execute menu vision; ensuring consistency and compliance with Cobb's recipes, portioning, cooking and waste control guidelines.

Prepare meals as part of a team, upholding the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety at all times.

Follow Cobb's guidelines concerning food and physical safety, maintenance and equipment/ space.

Clean kitchen at the end of each night, including sweeping, mopping, wiping down all surfaces, and overall area sanitation.

Appropriately store all food product to ensure safety, quality and freshness.

Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate.

Schedule varies and might require weekend hours, days and evenings.

Other duties as necessary may be assigned by the manager or supervisor to whom this position reports.

Qualifications

Candidates must be a mature professionals with the following qualifications:

• ONE years experience cooking in a fast paced, detail-oriented kitchen

• Maintain a clean and organized station

• Conversationally fluent in English (speak, read, write)

• A respectful team player 

• A flexible schedule with weekend and Holiday availability

• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new things
