Job Overview

We are seeking a driven and dynamic Commercial Account Executive to support our sales efforts, engage with potential clients, and help grow our customer base. The ideal candidate has a passion for sales, strong communication skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in identifying, researching, and qualifying prospective customers navigating business closures

  • Support the sales team in managing the sales pipeline and tracking key metrics.

  • Provide product demonstrations and educate potential clients on our solutions.

  • Support deal progression by managing follow-ups, next steps, and customer questions

  • Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead generation and conversion strategies.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).

  • Gather and report customer feedback to help refine sales strategies and product development.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs.

Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Legal background, understanding of M&A, corporate law, or accounting experience (preferred but not necessary)

  • 2 - 4+ years sales experience in SaaS/Startup environment; in Legal-tech, Fintech, HR-tech.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.

  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities.

  • Comfortable conducting outreach and engaging with potential clients.

  • Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce (preferred but not required).

  • Enthusiastic, goal-oriented, and eager to learn in a startup environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

What we offer
  • Compensation: This role is fully remote and open to candidates across the United States. OTE is determined by location tier:

    • Tier 1 (NYC, LA, SF): $170,000 – $180,000 OTE

    • Tier 2 (Chicago, Austin, Denver, Boston, DC, Miami): $160,000 – $170,000 OTE

    • Tier 3 (All other US locations): $150,000 – $160,000 OTE

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Competitive equity package

  • Fully remote (we are prioritizing applicants in Central or Eastern timezones)

  • Two in-person team retreats a year

*We are unable to support any visa outside of Canada (no H1B Visas)
