What you will do

The Commercial Lead, OGX is responsible for leading the growth, strategy, and commercial performance of one of Kenvue's most important hair care brands. This role serves as the intersection of brand strategy, innovation, commercial execution, and business leadership, translating consumer and category insights into winning growth plans across retail, eCommerce, and omnichannel environments.

The role owns brand performance and P&L delivery, leads cross-functional teams, and drives end-to-end commercialization—from long-range strategy and innovation planning to customer activation, media, retail execution, and business performance management. The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking with executional excellence and a passion for building brands, developing talent, and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the brand’s annual and long-range growth strategy, including portfolio roadmap and local innovation pipeline, brand positioning, and commercial priorities.

  • Lead OGX business performance, including revenue, share, profitability, forecast accuracy, investment planning, and overall P&L management.

  • Own the commercialization agenda across all channels, partnering with Sales, Customer Strategy, and Trade Marketing to deliver strong retail execution and category trend leadership.

  • Drive integrated activation plans spanning national media, retail media, shopper marketing, digital commerce, social, influencer, experiential, and in-store programs.

  • Lead local innovation development and go-to-market execution for new products, customer-specific opportunities, partnerships, and commercialization initiatives.

  • Partner with Insights, Analytics, and Finance teams to identify growth opportunities, diagnose business challenges, and optimize investment effectiveness and ROI.

  • Establish OGX as a category leader in repair through strong consumer understanding, competitive intelligence, trend identification, and thought leadership.

  • Lead cross-functional teams across Brand, Innovation, Sales, Demand and Supply, Finance, Media, R&D, Project Management, Legal & Regulatory and Agency partners, etc. to ensure flawless execution against business objectives.

  • Lead demand planning and supply alignment, partnering with Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales to deliver accurate forecasts, manage risks and opportunities, optimize inventory health, and ensure successful execution of innovation and promotional plans.

  • Lead annual budget planning and investment management, including marketing, trade, innovation, and operating budgets, ensuring resources are prioritized against growth opportunities and delivering optimal business returns. Manage day-to-day brand marketing budget.

  • Represent the brand with senior leadership, customers, agency partners, and key external stakeholders while influencing decisions that accelerate growth and strengthen brand equity.

  • Build organizational capability through coaching, talent development, prioritization, and fostering a high-performance culture.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Brand Marketing and Commercial Leadership within CPG, Beauty, Personal Care, or Consumer Goods.

  • Proven success managing brand or business P&L and delivering sustainable growth.

  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams, including coaching, talent development, performance management, and fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture.

  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Strong creativity and storytelling capabilities with a track record of developing breakthrough consumer, shopper, and commercial initiatives that drive brand growth and engagement.

  • Proven ability to translate consumer insights, category trends, and business challenges into innovative growth strategies and activation plans.

  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to turn data into actionable business recommendations.

  • Experience developing brand strategies, innovation pipelines, and end-to-end commercialization plans.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and highly collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Beauty, hair care, personal care, or wellness category experience.

  • Experience working with major U.S. retailers including Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, Amazon, and grocery channels.

  • Experience across both brand building and commercial/customer-facing activation.

  • Strong understanding of omnichannel commerce, retail media, and digital marketing.

  • Experience leading teams and developing talent.

Success Measures

  • Revenue, share, and profit growth.

  • Innovation pipeline delivery and launch success.

  • Retail execution and distribution expansion.

  • Brand equity and consumer acquisition metrics.
