The Multifamily Capital Team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Commercial Mortgage Pursuit Specialist. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial acumen, a willingness to learn, and an interest in expanding their expertise in multifamily real estate finance. You will play a key role in supporting deal execution and client engagement, with opportunities for growth and increased responsibility.

- Analyze loans and identify high risk attributes
- Assist in sizing deals and preparing preliminary underwriting for agency submission.
- Support client communications throughout the transaction process; role will expand to include direct client engagement.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn; multifamily experience is a plus but not required.
- Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development
- Receive direction from manager and exercise independent judgment
- Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
2+ years of Business Client Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience in multifamily or commercial real estate finance is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency in financial modeling.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong technical writing skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience guiding and mentoring more junior associates or analysts
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field
- Candidates for this role will be required to work in-office 4 days a week.
