Primary Role

The Commercial Sales Manager will be responsible for driving incremental growth, account management, product sales, and market feedback for assigned accounts in the Commercial aquatic water business sector to drive increased profitability and growth, while also exploring possible growth opportunities.

The Commercial Sales Manager will also work closely with internal technical support, marketing, and product management teams as needed to address customer needs/opportunities.  

Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions of the Job

Generate incremental sales growth with new and existing accounts within the assigned territory.

Key Account management for existing book of business including sales and technical support.

Provide market intelligence feedback to shape existing and future sales strategies.

Interact with supportive functions to effectively manage the assigned territory.

Utilize the full suite of Solenis selling tools including SFDC & Tableau to maximize efficiency.

Onboarding, training and mentoring new team members

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing or in technical field e.g. Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.

Experience:

Minimum of 2-4 years in the water treatment sector and/or swimming pool industry.

Knowledge:

Water chemistry knowledge required.

Must have demonstrated skills and success in both fact based and relationship selling.
Strong communication, presentation, organization and negotiating skills.

Travel Requirement

50% Overnight travel

Work remotely from home-based office

Skills: Behavioral & Technical

Self-starter & independent thinker, that possesses skills required for team-building, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

Able to clearly indicate direction and/or share technical information with customer personnel, project team members and outside engineering, architect & design consultants.

Presentation & Training Skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com and Tableau with ability to train on latest changes and concepts

The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,730.00 and $118,404.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
