About the Role
Cyderes is looking for a Communications & Digital Content Strategist to own and elevate our external communications across social media, PR, and digital storytelling. This role sits at the intersection of brand, demand, employer brand, and thought leadership, and is critical to how we show up in the market.
This is a hands-on, ownership role. Success requires someone who can generate ideas, coordinate execution, and confidently own publishing and performance across all platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Drive day-to-day social strategy and execution of Cyderes’ social platforms, supporting lanes including corporate brand, thought leadership, technical content and employer brand.
- Develop new and ongoing social campaigns from creative brief to execution, including assets and social copy.
- Partner with marketing team members and key stakeholders to assist with creating assets tailored to the needs of each channel.
- Own and manage social content calendar, scheduling, optimization, and reporting for all organic social (assist paid campaigns when needed).
- Monitor performance and report results, insights, and recommendations.
- Manage and onboard employees to our social sharing tool, Employee Advocacy by Sprout Social.
- Stay current on new platform updates and features, adjusting strategy accordingly.
- Assist with supporting our PR agency, MarketBridge, helping provide their teams with the resources, SMEs, and information needed to craft PR strategies and tactics.
- Help with internal communications planning as needed
- Partner with the Digital Content Manager to assist with content organization, editing, and project coordination as needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in communications, social media, digital content, or PR
- Proven ability to own social media end-to-end (strategy → execution → reporting)
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, especially for technical or B2B audiences, strong understanding of AP style encouraged.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally (marketing, product, leadership, agencies)
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
- Experience in cybersecurity, B2B tech, or SaaS is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with project management systems and social scheduling tools (Monday.com and Sprout Social preferred but not required).
