Life360 delivers peace of mind and enhances everyday family life with seamless coordination for all the moments that matter, big and small. By continuing to innovate and deliver for our customers, we have become a household name and the must-have mobile-based membership for families (and those friends that basically are family).

Life360 has more than 500 (and growing!) remote-first employees. For more information, please visit life360.com.

Life360 is a Remote-First company, which means a remote work environment will be the primary experience for all employees. All positions, unless otherwise specified, can be performed remotely (within the US) regardless of any specified location above.

About the Job

The Community Engagement Specialist will join our award-winning Social Team to lead our community engagement function, with a significant focus on growing Life360’s social community through (iconic) outbound engagement and turning everyday member interactions in our DMs or comments into moments that foster genuine connection.

You’ll own the relationship between Life360 and its social community, showing up primarily across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Threads. Your goal will be to turn Life360 members into vocal brand advocates through strong inbound and outbound engagement that’s authentically Life360. You’ll also serve as the company’s pulse on what our 90 million members are *actually* talking about on social media. You'll be deep in our social listening, transforming member stories into actionable insights that shape our product, fuel our social content, and inform the wider company.

This isn't your typical community management role with templated responses and rigid content calendars. We're looking for a bold, high-agency social media and cultural strategist who can spot viral cultural moments as they’re happening and confidently place Life360 in the comment section. Additionally, you should be user-obsessed, operating with an instinct of "I love this person’s story… now how do I share this with even more people?”. You'll have the autonomy to react to emerging trends and moments in real-time, becoming the go-to voice for what Life360 members care about.

The US-based salary range for this position is $87,500 to $128,500. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

What You’ll Do

Community Management & Outbound Engagement

  • Manage daily community engagement across Life360’s social channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Twitter, YouTube), including comments and DMs.
  • Respond to inbound comments and DMs in a timely and thoughtful manner, including creator inquiries and product questions.
  • Publish a high volume of outbound comments rooted in social listening and trend spotting, showing up in ways that feel true to Life360.
  • Kickstart Life360’s Instagram Broadcast Channel presence.
  • Maintain Life360’s brand voice and values in all community interactions.

Member Stories

  • Identify and reach out to Life360 members who post content that's *so Life360-coded* it needs to live in our UGC library, be reposted on our social channels, or we need to rally a crew to film an entire commercial with that member’s powerful story.
  • Maintain our internal UGC library in Airtable, keeping content appropriately tagged and searchable for cross-functional partners.

Social Listening & Analytics

  • Own Life360's social listening function by monitoring brand mentions, conversations, and sentiment analysis.
  • Translate social listening data into clear, actionable insights shared in a monthly social listening report for the Social Team and wider Marketing Team.
  • Track performance of inbound and outbound interactions.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2-3 years of experience in community management and/or social media with proven success growing and maintaining engaged communities across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Threads.
  • Strong command of brand voice and exceptional copywriting skills that maintain consistent identity while adapting strategies for different platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and jump on trending moments, placing a brand like Life360 into a conversation in a way that is authentic and intentional.
  • Familiar with social and creative tools such as Sprout Social, Figma, CapCut, and Airtable (or eager to learn).
  • Collaborative partner who integrates social-first thinking into broader marketing initiatives and works effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptable professional who quickly adjusts to platform algorithm changes and emerging trends while driving consistent engagement.
  • Data-driven strategist who combines creative vision with performance analytics to inform content decisions.
  • Bold, innovative thinker with a user-focused approach and curiosity about how our audience interacts with our product.
Our Benefits
  • Competitive pay and benefits
  • Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans (100% paid for employees)
  • 401(k) plan with company matching program
  • Mental Wellness Program & Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental well-being
  • Flexible PTO, 13 company-wide days off throughout the year
  • Winter and Summer Weeklong Synchronized Company Shutdowns
  • Learning & Development programs
  • Equipment, tools, and reimbursement support for a productive remote environment
  • Free Life360 Platinum Membership for your preferred circle
  • Free Tile Products
