Role Overview
We're seeking a dynamic Community Lead to establish and grow Akash Network's presence in San Francisco's vibrant AI, Crypto, and DePIN communities. This role combines community building, relationship development, and event coordination to create meaningful connections between Akash Network and the Bay Area's tech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in existing SF-based AI, Crypto, and DePIN community groups, meetups, and events
- Build authentic relationships with community leaders, developers, and enthusiasts
- Identify and connect with key influencers and thought leaders in the space
- Represent Akash Network at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions
- Establish and grow a dedicated Akash Network community presence in San Francisco
- Organize regular meetups, workshops, and educational events
- Develop programming that showcases Akash Network's capabilities and use cases
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with local organizations, universities, and tech companies
- Collaborate with other DePIN projects and AI/ML companies in the region
- Facilitate connections between Akash Network and potential enterprise clients
- Work with local accelerators, incubators, and co-working spaces
- Create locally-relevant content that resonates with SF tech community
- Share insights and updates about Akash Network developments
- Gather community feedback and relay insights to the broader Akash community
- Maintain regular communication with core contributors to the Akash Network
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in community building, developer relations, or similar role
- Strong existing network within San Francisco's AI, Crypto, or DePIN communities
- Deep understanding of decentralized technologies and cloud computing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Comfortable with cryptocurrency and DeFi ecosystems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Akash Network or similar decentralized infrastructure projects
- Technical background in cloud computing, AI/ML, or blockchain development
- Experience organizing tech events and meetups
- Established presence in SF tech community
- Understanding of DePIN ecosystem and trends
