We have a permanent opportunity to help ensure site-wide compliance by defining, implementing and maintaining requirements aligned with KHMS, internal standards, regulatory obligations and external audit expectations.

Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Lead HACCP reviews and maintain current, compliant food safety plans that accurately reflect site practices
  • Audit and maintain prerequisite programs, ensuring alignment with Management System, regulatory and customer standards
  • Update and maintain all food safety documentation and records in I-Leader
  • Lead verification, validation and performance monitoring activities, including GMP audits, HACCP checks and Management System metrics
  • Schedule, conduct and trend performance monitoring and customer complaint investigations, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement
  • Act as accountable owner for assigned KHMS standards, implement baseline plans, and complete daily walkthroughs and Golden Rules checks
  • Lead and support internal and external audits, ensure audit-readiness and timely close-out and verification of corrective actions
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching and training to cross-functional staff to build capability in HACCP, GMP and audit preparedness
  • Support the Food Safety Quality (FSQ) Lead as 2IC, providing coverage, decision-making support and leadership presence when required
  • Ensure all FSQ activities comply with Kraft Heinz Food Safety, EHS, Ethical and HR policies and promote company values and food safety ownership

About you:
  • Tertiary qualification in food science, food technology or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in a food safety quality role, including experience leading people.
  • HACCP Principles & Application (Level 4) certified
  • Experience conducting internal and/or external audits; practical knowledge of SQF and customer audit requirements
  • Experience with RMP (MPI requirements) and Food Control Plan implementation
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and to be analytical when assessing products against specific requirements
  • Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and professional development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a willingness to learn Kraft Heinz Management System, I-Leader and other FSQ systems
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand - with full working rights.
