AGE Solutions is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to support a DoD Local Area Network (LAN) engineering team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide configuration baseline control throughout the lifecycle of highly complex information systems, specifically network software and hardware elements.
  • Facilitate and advise Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
  • Maintain allocated, functional and physical baseline control and ability to perform audit support.
  • Review all engineering change requests to assess impact upon configuration baseline and logistics support elements.
  • Maintain configuration control records and technical documents.
  • Work closely with quality assurance and management representatives to ensure accurate and well documented product baseline.
  • Prepare directives for change authorization and implementation.
  • Establish and manage procedures to ensure the complete inventory and controlled release of network diagrams and configuration items.
  • Review configuration items for accuracy and completeness.
  • Review change requests and track changes through the approval, completion, and validation processes.
  • Coordinate closely with the assigned Program Manager and contract team.

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
    • Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise a team of configuration management.
    • Demonstrated experience and ability to provide configuration baseline control throughout the lifecycle of highly complex information systems as well as component software and hardware elements.
  • Certifications:
    • DoD 8570 IAM I Level certification or higher (Ex: Security+ CE)
    • Nationally recognized configuration management certification or other relevant certification.
  • Citizenship and Clearance:
    • US Citizenship is required.
    • Must have and maintain a current DoD Secret clearance through a T3 or NACLC investigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CM2 Certification

Work Environment and Physical Demand:

  • Must be able to work for extended periods at a computer.

Compensation: $55,000+
