Job summary
CDW Enterprise Networking is the business unit within CDW, Inc. dedicated to providing comprehensive enterprise networking solutions to meet the needs of customers across various industries. Our focus is on designing, implementing, and optimizing campus, datacenter, branch, and wide area network environments to support critical business operations, enable secure connectivity, and drive digital transformation. As part of the Solutions Executive - Enterprise Networking team, you will be responsible for selling enterprise networking services and products. The Solutions Executive - Enterprise Networking is expected to enhance CDW presence, market share, and revenue growth in the market by supporting the sales team through full sales lifecycle management including strategic account planning, research, opportunity management, relationship-building, partnering with services teams and technology partners, pursuit, and closure.
What you will do
* Develop and execute successful strategies that expand CDW Enterprise Networking's customer base and achieve bookings, revenue, and gross profit targets.
* Establish a detailed, comprehensive understanding of enterprise networking capabilities, service offerings, value proposition, market positioning, selling strategy, process, and key differentiators.
* Cultivate productive relationships with key personnel in current and targeted accounts.
* Identify, engage, qualify, develop, and earn new clients.
* Manage, support, and grow relationships as part of the extended sales team with prospects and clients as a consultative seller.
* Network with a broad range of client organizations and leadership including Information Technology, Information Security, Finance, Internal Audit, Data Privacy, Compliance, Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, and Procurement.
* Proactively coordinate with internal Enterprise Networking resources including subject matter experts, practice leadership, sales management, and marketing to drive sales cycles and exceed client expectations.
* Engage across a broad enterprise networking vendor ecosystem to deliver best-fit solutions for clients, including but not limited to Cisco, Juniper, Arista, HPE Aruba, Extreme Networks, and other leading networking platforms.
* Understand industry trends that impact client networking strategy, risk, budget planning, and investment decisions.
* Provide accurate sales pipeline updates and forecasts.
* Proactively populate and maintain all required information in Salesforce.
* Provide onboarding support and mentorship to entry level Solutions Executives.
* Enhance CDW Enterprise Networking's and your personal brand through participation in industry events, speaking engagements, blogging, and other approved public communications.
What we expect of you
* Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
* 8+ years of experience identifying opportunities and managing the full sales lifecycle for enterprise networking solutions and services.
* Demonstrated mastery across at least five enterprise networking domains such as campus networking, datacenter networking, WAN, wireless, network security, software-defined networking, or network automation.
* Experience with enterprise sales including strategic planning and day-to-day execution.
* Proven performance record with demonstrated year-over-year results.
* Successful history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
* Ability to take ownership of professional objectives and achieve financial targets.
* Strong ambition and sense of urgency.
* Energetic networker and relationship-builder.
* Ability to work effectively across extended internal teams and partner organizations.
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to travel as needed to support customer and partner engagements.
