Our Team and What We’ll Accomplish Together

We are seeking an exceptional leader to spearhead our Professional Services TPM Consulting team for TELUS Agriculture and Consumer Goods' Trade Promotion Management (TPM) solutions. In this role, you will lead a team of Solution Architects and Business Consultants who design, implement, and support our TPM software solutions for clients across the consumer goods industry. You will be responsible for driving service delivery excellence, fostering client relationships at the executive level, scaling our consulting practice, and developing a high-performing team that delivers transformational value to our customers.

What you’ll Do

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Solution Architects and Business Consultants, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Build and scale the consulting services team to meet growing business demands and market opportunities
  • Establish clear performance metrics, career development paths, and coaching frameworks to maximize team potential
  • Drive knowledge sharing and best practice development across the team to elevate service delivery quality
  • Champion a customer-first mindset while balancing team wellbeing and sustainable delivery practices

Service Delivery & Operational Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of consulting engagements from solution design through implementation, training, and hypercare
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and exceed customer expectations
  • Define and optimize service delivery methodologies, frameworks, and standards for both Solution Architects and Business Consultants
  • Monitor project health, resource allocation, and capacity planning to maximize team utilization and client satisfaction
  • Implement quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives across all engagements

Client Relationship & Business Growth

  • Serve as an executive sponsor and trusted advisor for strategic client accounts
  • Build and maintain strong C-level relationships with key customers in the CPG industry
  • Partner with Sales teams to scope, design, and win new consulting engagements
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and drive adoption of additional services
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, influencing product roadmap and platform enhancements

Strategic Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for Managed Services and Consulting Services aligned with business objectives
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Provide thought leadership on TPM industry trends, best practices, and competitive positioning
  • Drive innovation in service offerings, delivery models, and customer engagement approaches
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and service packaging

Domain Expertise & Thought Leadership

  • Leverage deep TPM and CPG industry expertise to guide complex solution designs and business decisions
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical or business challenges during implementations
  • Develop and share thought leadership content on TPM trends, best practices, and digital transformation

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years of progressive experience in solution architecture, business consulting, or professional services within enterprise software or SaaS environments
  • 3-5+ years in a leadership role managing consulting, professional services, or implementation teams
  • Proven CPG industry expertise with strong understanding of consumer goods functions including demand planning, sales, finance, trade spend management, accruals & settlements, and Revenue Growth Management (RGM)
  • Track record of building and scaling high-performing teams with demonstrated success in hiring, developing, and retaining top talent
  • Client relationship management experience at executive levels with ability to influence and advise C-suite stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing P&L, budgets, or business unit performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and executive presence - ability to present to senior leadership, facilitate workshops, and drive consensus across diverse stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Trade Promotion Management (TPM) experience with deep understanding of TPM processes, systems, and industry challenges is preferred
  • Experience with SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and enterprise system integrations
  • Background spanning both technical solution architecture AND business consulting/implementation
  • Experience in a high-growth or scale-up environment
  • Proven success driving service delivery transformation or operational excellence initiatives
  • Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to influence product development
  • Consulting firm or professional services background (Big 4, boutique consultancy, or software vendor)

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, team gatherings, and industry events (estimated 20-30%)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a dynamic, matrixed organization
