Job Summary:

We're looking for a creative Content Specialist to join our Marketing Team and is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing content that communicates the benefits and solutions of Microsoft Technologies and Avantiico ISV solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of content strategy, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to create engaging content that would generate leads and build our brand's value and authority in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will collaborate with our certified Microsoft consultants to leverage their domain expertise and create copywriting and “evergreen content”: blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and any other types of content form that is search engine optimized. The Content Specialist will also assist in social media marketing, and Events & Promotions when needed.

This is an hourly, full-time opportunity based in Southern California. This role offers the flexibility of working from home, with an expectation for periodic on-site presence at our San Diego downtown office, either once a week or bi-weekly.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, engaging content such as blog posts, case studies, landing pages, one-pagers, video scripts, or other content focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, Fabric, and Avantiico ISV solutions.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) with regular quarterly SEO audits and collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with broader marketing goals and strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, sales, service, and technical teams) to gather insights, identify content opportunities, and ensure accuracy in content creation, particularly when communicating complex technical solutions. You will work closely with our Microsoft consultants and subject matter experts, tapping into their deep industry knowledge to help craft compelling and high-value content.
  • Track, analyze, and report on content performance using tools such as Google Analytics, GSE, SEMrush, HubSpot, Looker, or other relevant systems. Ensure that content is regularly reviewed, stays relevant, and is properly versioned.
  • Assist the marketing and sales teams when needed to develop content for marketing campaigns, webinars, and product launches that effectively promote our Microsoft services and Avantiico ISV solutions.
  • Assist with managing and creating content across various social media platforms when needed to engage with audiences and promote solutions.
  • Balance multiple assignments and schedule workload to meet established deadlines
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in Microsoft and the broader tech landscape.

Skills/Abilities:

  • 4 years of relevant experience, preferably within the technology industry or for B2B or SaaS.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, or willingness to learn.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Able to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand, engaging content.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization strategies.
  • Experience with SEMrush
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Experience with content management systems or marketing automation tools, ideally WordPress and HubSpot (Bricks experience a plus).
  • Has a proven track record of delivering original content creation, learning new cross-functional skills, and meeting deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, a self-starter, and proactive.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or relevant

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to work from a home office and follow working from home best practices.
  • Travel requirements 25% annually.
