Content and Education Specialist 

The Content and Education Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging and effective educational content to empower users to maximize their understanding and utilization of our products and services. This role requires a blend of instructional design expertise, content creation skills, and a passion for fostering learning. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with a strong ability to translate complex information into accessible and impactful learning experiences. This role will report to the Director, CX Knowledge & Operations. 

The impact you will make:

Content Development:

    • Design and develop engaging educational content, including online courses, tutorials, training materials, videos, and knowledge-base articles.
    • Create content that is clear, concise, and aligned with learning objectives and user needs.
    • Utilize various multimedia tools and technologies to create interactive and visually appealing learning experiences.
    • Gather and analyze technical information for content from subject matter experts, engineers, and product managers to ensure accuracy and clarity.

Instructional Design:

  • Apply instructional design principles and methodologies to create effective learning solutions.
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze learning objectives to determine appropriate content and delivery methods.
  • Develop learning paths and curriculums that guide users through a structured learning experience.

Content Management:

  • Manage and maintain a library of educational content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Organize and categorize content for easy accessibility and retrieval.
  • Implement and maintain content standards and style guides.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with learners and provide support as needed.
  • Gather and analyze feedback to continuously improve educational content.

Performance Measurement:

  • Track and analyze learner engagement and performance metrics.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational content and identify areas for improvement.
  • Generate reports and provide insights on learning outcomes.

Attributes for Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in developing and delivering educational content through different mediums (written, video, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Proficiency in documentation tools and content management systems. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate them into clear and concise language.
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting.
  • Experience in a software or technology company.

In-Office Requirement Statement

We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection. 

  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 2-3 times a quarter and therefore is best situated in the Western Time zone

Pay Range

At Kajabi we believe the workplace should be equitable, inclusive, and inspiring for every employee. In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for equity. Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.

US based applicants only.

$62,000—$83,000 + equity + bonus
