Who we’re looking for;

 

Graylog is currently recruiting for a Content Marketing Director to lead content strategy, drive customer storytelling, and strengthen engagement with our broader ecosystem- including partners, strategic alliances, and industry thought leaders.

 

This role is at the intersection of content marketing, customer marketing, and partner marketing, helping shape our narrative while supporting sales and partner enablement.

 

This is a high-impact role where you will own the storytelling that shapes how our customers and partners engage with Graylog.

 

As the Content Marketing Director, you will join Graylog’s growth-oriented culture and work with a passionate team that values innovation, collaboration, and ownership.

 

This position can be based anywhere in the US and will report to our Chief Marketing Officer based in the US.


Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

Strategy & Thought Leadership

  • Develop and put into effect a content strategy that supports sales, marketing, and customer education.
  • Create technical yet engaging content tailored for different personas, industries, and buying stages.
  • Lead the development of thought leadership content focused on cybersecurity trends and best practices.
  • Produce case studies, and customer stories, and use case-driven content that highlights real-world success.
  • Develop buyers’ guides, TCO calculators, and product positioning assets to aid the buyer journey.

Product & Solution Storytelling

  • Create compelling product-focused content that demonstrates Graylog’s value for different use cases.
  • Develop product demo videos, solution overviews, and interactive walkthroughs- highlighting key features and benefits. (This role does not require maintaining a live demo environment but focusing on creating engaging product content.)
  • Partner with internal SMEs to translate technical capabilities into clear, concise messaging for prospects and customers, partnering with the Director of Product Marketing, Director of Technical Marketing, and VP of Product Management.

Ecosystem & Partner Marketing

  • Strengthen relationships with strategic partners (AWS, TruKnow, SocPrime, Bitdefender) by developing co-branded content and marketing initiatives.
  • Support partner enablement with join collateral, integration guides, and solution messaging.
  • Maintain, optimize, and promote AWS Marketplace listings to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Leverage AWS Partner Network and other strategic programs to maximize value- including filing for MDF (Market Development Funds).

Customer Engagement & Advocacy

  • Own the customer story program, driving the creation of case studies, testimonials, and advocacy content.
  • Work with sales and customer success to identify success stories and turn them into compelling marketing assets.
  • Gather feedback from customers, prospects, and partners to identify content gaps and refine messaging.

A little bit about you

  • Extensive experience in Content Marketing, Customer Marketing, Partner Marketing, or Product Marketing- preferably in cybersecurity, SIEM, or security operations.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into engaging, digestible content for different audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with creating product videos, customer stories, and enablement materials.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and partner teams.
  • Engaging storytelling, writing, and project management skills in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong desire to operate both strategically and hands-on, get things done.

Additional nice to have experience (desirable but not required)

  • Experience with AWS Partner Network (APN), MDF programs, and AWS Marketplace.
  • Familiarity with Allbound or similar partner enablement platforms.
  • Experience working with security vendors, alliances, or thought leadership programs.
