Asana’s Marketing team is looking for a hands-on Content Marketing Manager to join our Content & Social team. You’ll create high-quality, engaging content that fuels brand awareness and audience growth. This is an execution-focused role so expect to spend most of your time writing, producing, editing, and publishing. You’ll work on a steady flow of projects, from quick-turn social copy to long-form assets, with clear performance goals tied to engagement, traffic, and campaign impact.

You’ll collaborate closely with designers, social media managers, and other marketers to bring ideas to life quickly and effectively, ensuring our content is consistent, compelling, and on-brand. Along the way, you’ll gain exposure to campaign planning, performance analysis, and the latest trends in B2B content and social.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in-office. Most Asanas work from home on Wednesdays, and Fridays are flexible depending on your team’s work. Your recruiter will share more details during the process.

What you’ll achieve:

  • Produce a high volume of audience-ready content, including blogs, ebooks, case studies, landing pages, and social posts with a focus on informing, engaging, and driving measurable interest.
  • Run the full content lifecycle by drafting, editing, staging in the CMS, publishing, and tracking performance to quickly refine and improve.
  • Create connected experiences by partnering with designers, product marketers, and campaign managers so every asset supports shared goals.
  • Grow reach and engagement through consistent publishing, precise scheduling, and light community interaction.
  • Equip campaigns with compelling assets for demand generation, product launches, events, and other marketing priorities.
  • Leverage AI tools effectively and responsibly to speed up research and drafting, always finishing with a polished, human touch.
  • Apply/maintain brand voice and tone guidelines to content and/or adjusting tone depending on the channel.
  • Manage content workflows/interact with stakeholders to keep assets on track.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3–5+ years of content marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • A strong portfolio of gated and ungated work showing versatility in tone, format, and audience.
  • Proven ability to write and edit for marketing personas across multiple formats with consistent voice and attention to detail.
  • Comfort measuring content performance and connecting it to business outcomes.
  • Strong interviewing skills to draw insights from subject matter experts and customers.
  • Experience using a CMS (Contentful, WordPress, Webflow, or similar) or eagerness to learn quickly.
  • Familiarity with social scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout, native platform schedulers).
  • Basic knowledge of content optimization best practices.
  • Hands-on, execution-first mindset. You are focused on creating, not managing or setting high-level strategy.
  • Comfort using AI tools to research, ideate, and draft, while refining with a human touch.
  • Interest in collaborative work management tools like Asana (experience a plus).
  • Experience partnering with campaigns and product marketing teams for major launches or large corporate events.
  • Video editing, video content creation, and understanding video trends.
  • Background writing for multiple personas in a B2B SaaS software context.
  • Understanding of how content supports demand generation and lifecycle marketing.
