The #1 Fastest Growing Gifting Company in America, Goody is looking for a creative and strategic Content Marketing Manager to own our retention and customer marketing content across email, social, and editorial channels. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will be responsible for how we communicate with our customers – driving engagement, repeat gifting, and long-term loyalty through thoughtful, well-crafted content.

As a fast-growing platform for corporate gifting, Goody has no shortage of occasions, gifts, and product releases to celebrate. You’ll be at the heart of planning and building outstanding campaigns that bring our marketing calendar to life and speak to our target personas. While this is a B2B role, it’s not traditional SaaS customer marketing. Gifting is emotional, creative, and human, and our content should reflect that.

Excellent writing skills and a strong creative instinct are essential, along with a high bar for visual quality and brand expression. If you’re excited about owning customer-facing newsletters, crafting brand storytelling across channels, and creating content that is both beautiful and effective, we’d love to meet you.

Goody is a fully remote company with opportunities to meet in person, such as regional meetups and our annual company offsite.

What You’ll Do

Own Marketing Newsletters

  • Plan and execute Goody’s customer newsletter and retention-focused email calendar.

  • Write engaging, on-brand content that supports onboarding, education, repeat gifting, and product adoption.

  • Partner with our design agency to create beautiful, fun, and high-performing emails that customers enjoy opening.

Write Customer-Centric & SEO-Driven Content

  • Develop blog and editorial content focused on customer use cases, gifting inspiration, product education, and success stories.

  • Own SEO best practices for blog content, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content updates to improve performance over time.

  • Translate product updates and new features into clear, compelling customer-facing narratives.

  • Maintain a consistent voice, tone, and visual standard across all customer communications.

Own Prospect and Customer Engagement on Social

  • Create and publish social content (currently, LinkedIn, grow into TikTok, Instagram) that speaks to prospects and existing customers and reinforces Goody’s value.

  • Repurpose email and blog content into social formats to extend reach and engagement.

  • Highlight customer stories, gifting moments, and real-world use cases.

  • Stay on top of platform trends, formats, and best practices to keep Goody’s social presence fresh and relevant.

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Merchandising, Customer Success, Sales, and Design to source insights and turn them into impactful content.

  • Create and maintain core sales collateral (e.g., one-pagers, pitch decks, case studies, and product overviews) to support sales conversations and align messaging across teams.

  • Support broader customer marketing initiatives through strong copy and content execution.

Measure & Optimize Content

  • Monitor performance across newsletters, blog articles, SEO, and social channels.

  • Use data and customer feedback to refine messaging, formats, and content strategy over time.

Support Video & Paid Media Content (Bonus)

  • Support the creation of short-form video content for social and paid campaigns, partnering closely with Design and Marketing.

  • Be comfortable and willing to appear on camera or contribute to first-person content.

  • Partner with Performance Marketing to develop compelling creative (written and visual) for paid media campaigns across social channels.

Who You Are

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, customer marketing, or email marketing, ideally in a SaaS or startup environment.

  • Proven experience owning customer-facing content calendars and ongoing communications.

Skills

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong sense of voice, clarity, and storytelling.

  • Strong design sensibility and visual taste, with experience using tools like Canva, Figma, or similar to create or guide high-quality content.

  • Experience with email marketing platforms (bonus points if it’s Customer.IO).

  • Solid understanding of social media, retention, and customer engagement best practices.

  • Ability to adapt content for organic and paid social placements.

  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.

  • Familiarity with CRMs and marketing tools such as HubSpot and Salesforce.

  • Experience creating or supporting short-form video content is a bonus.

  • Data-informed but creatively driven.

  • Customer-obsessed mindset with the ability to anticipate what users need next.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple content streams.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

  • Collaborative, thoughtful, and excited to build long-term relationships through content.
