About Dora Factory

Dora Factory is a leader in privacy-preserving voting technology. It develops the anonymous MACI (aMACI) protocol and its supporting infrastructure, pushing the boundaries of trustless, anonymous, and autonomous governance technology.

World MACI is the first private, decentralized polling platform built on Dora Factory’s aMACI protocol. MACI XL enables organizations and global communities to create and manage polling topics and governance rounds.

About the Role

We’re seeking a proactive and highly engaged Content Moderator to join our team. You will help moderate and grow polling topics on World MACI, the first scalable, decentralized, private polling platform. Whether your background is in news media, comedy/community entertainment or PPE (Philosophy, Politics, Economics), you’ll bring energy, empathy and strong judgement to live communication with users, and moderation of content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review user-generated content across our platforms (forums, social channels, live chats, comments) to ensure alignment with community guidelines and our values.

  • Actively engage with community members: respond to questions, moderate conversations, foster positive interactions and intervene when necessary.

  • Infuse tone, humour, clarity and credibility into community interactions.

  • Escalate complex or sensitive issues (harassment, harassment patterns, collusion) to senior team members, and help recommend improvements to our moderation workflows and policies.

  • Gather insights and feedback from users: monitor patterns, pain-points, trending topics or user behaviour that informs product, community and growth teams.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with content, growth, community and product teams to align moderation strategy, community tone, and user experience.

  • Maintain high standards around communication: clear, empathetic, timely; adapt style to platform and audience (live chat vs forum vs social).

  • Help maintain safe, inclusive and engaging spaces, supporting Dora Factory’s mission of trustless, anonymous, autonomous governance.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a content-centric role—moderation, journalism, media, comedy/community engagement, or public-policy outreach.

  • Background in news organisations, comedy or entertainment communities or PPE (philosophy, politics, economics) work.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to talk with users, respond live, moderate discourse and craft community-facing content.

  • Comfort with fast-moving online communities, user behaviour trends, shifting platform norms and high-engagement environments.

  • Ability to make judgement calls quickly, handle conflict or sensitive content with professionalism and escalate as needed.

  • Demonstrated flair for user-facing communication, comfortable being active, visible in community spaces and shaping tone of voice.

  • Tech-savvy with familiarity of social media platforms and digital communities, live chat or forums.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Crypto native.

  • Experience in Web3 communities and decentralized technology platforms.

  • Multilingual or region-specific community skills (helpful for global user base).

  • Experience using moderation tools, analytics platforms or community management suites.

  • Able to operate across flexible hours to cover global time zones.

Send an email with three bullet points describing evidence of your exceptional ability to [email protected].
