The core function of the Content Senior Specialist is developing and executing a content strategy rooted in company business objectives, industry-specific audience needs, and measurable outcomes across brand awareness, share of voice (SOV), SEO, and answer engine optimization (AEO). In this role, the Content Sr. Specialist will own content strategy and execution within an assigned industry vertical, ensuring Lytx content reaches the right audiences, ranks in the right places, and supports both brand and demand generation goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and own content strategy for an assigned industry vertical, grounded in company business objectives and the needs of customers and end users within that segment.

  • Lead the planning, creation, delivery of on-brand content across the customer journey, from awareness through consideration.

  • Drive brand awareness and share of voice within your vertical through strategic content programs that position Lytx as a credible, authoritative voice in the market.

  • Optimize content for SEO and AEO, ensuring Lytx content surfaces in traditional search results and AI-generated answers; track and report on performance against SOV, ranking, and visibility KPIs.

  • Partner with demand generation teams to ensure content strategy supports top-of-funnel pipeline motions, increasing brand awareness and conversion rates.

  • Serve as a key contributor to corporate-level positioning and messaging strategy, with a vertical-specific lens.

  • Provide counsel and content strategy support to executive leadership for keynote speeches and other high-visibility speaking engagements.

  • Align cross-functionally with other content practitioners, including those owning other industry verticals, to create a cohesive content experience and consistent messaging strategy across the customer journey.

  • Assess content discovery and planning needs, ensuring the right content activities are prioritized and executed within your vertical.

  • Measure content performance against industry best practices, competitive benchmarks, and strategic business objectives; provide regular reporting on SOV, SEO, AEO, and brand awareness metrics.

  • Increase visibility into existing content and ongoing content creation efforts to foster collaboration and efficiency across teams.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field

  • 6+ years of experience as a content strategist, content marketer, or related role

  • Demonstrated expertise in content strategy with strong analytical skills to gather business and audience insights and translate them into a long-term content vision

  • Hands-on experience with SEO strategy and a working knowledge of AEO — including how large language models surface content and how to optimize for AI-generated answers

  • Experience tracking and reporting on share of voice, search visibility, and brand awareness metrics

  • Experience aligning content strategy with demand generation goals, including top-of-funnel awareness and conversion programs

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan.  The expected hiring salary for this position is:

$109,500.00 - $138,500.00
