This individual will report into our SEO Manager and own the content strategy, direction, and quality across SupplyHouse’s blog, SEO landing pages, and product detail pages (PDPs), with a focus on driving organic search growth, increasing visibility across AI-powered search platforms, and maintaining a consistent, authentic brand voice. Working closely with our Director of Growth Marketing and partners across SEO, Brand, and Product/Merchandising, this role will establish editorial standards, guide content priorities, and develop strategies that strengthen our digital presence and contribute to customer acquisition goals. If you’re passionate about creating impactful content, enjoy combining creativity with data-driven strategy, and are excited to explore new opportunities in SEO and AI-powered search, we’d love to hear from you!

This position requires travel to our headquarters in Melville, NY 3 times per year for internal meetings and team building activities. We reimburse reasonable and necessary travel expenses, and you’re also welcome to work on-site anytime beyond these visits – our doors are always open.

Role Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Remote

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with time zone flexibility

Base Salary: The expected starting salary for the position is $77,009 to $96,261 within a full position range of $77,009 to $115,514 annually. This range reflects the long-term earning potential for the role. Our starting pay practice is the minimum to middle portion of the range, depending on experience, qualifications, and internal equity, consistent with applicable law and it is rare for a new hire to start above the midpoint.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a content roadmap across the blog, SEO landing pages, and PDPs that prioritizes topics by search demand, AI-citation potential, and revenue opportunity
  • Define and enforce content structure standards (headers, schema, answer-first formatting, comparison and FAQ blocks) that make content rankable in traditional search and citable by AI answer engines
  • Safeguard the SupplyHouse brand voice across all content, ensuring output (including AI-assisted drafts) reads as authentic, helpful, and consistent with brand guidelines
  • Review and edit AI-generated and human-written content for accuracy, tone, and duplication or cannibalization risk before publication
  • Write and edit original content, including blog features, brand storytelling, and PDP copy, where authenticity and voice matter most
  • Partner with the SEO and Growth Marketing team to translate keyword and topical-authority research into content briefs and production priorities
  • Monitor content performance across organic traffic, AI citation and visibility share, and conversion, and adjust content strategy accordingly
  • Partner with Product and Merchandising teams to ensure PDP content accurately reflects product data while remaining optimized for search and AI discovery
  • Track and adapt to evolving AI search behavior (LLM crawling, citation mechanics, answer engine optimization) to keep content practices current
  • Manage relationships with freelance writers or content vendors as needed to support production capacity without compromising brand voice

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related business field
  • 3+ years of Content Strategy, ideally in e-commerce
  • 2+ years experience writing and editing for SEO
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a demonstrated ability to adapt tone and voice to a brand style guide
