We are looking for an experienced Content Writer to join our marketing team on a 12‑month maternity cover contract. This role is central to how we communicate our value to customers, prospects, and partners across multiple channels.

You will be responsible for creating high-quality written content that supports brand positioning, demand generation, and thought leadership for a growing data technology company. Working closely with the Head of Content and wider marketing and product teams, you will translate complex data and technical concepts into clear, engaging and compelling content.
What You'll Do

  • Create and edit a wide range of marketing collateral, including ebooks, whitepapers, case studies, presentations, etc.  
  • Write and manage regular newsletters for customers, prospects and internal stakeholders 
  • Develop thought leadership content such as blog posts, articles, opinion pieces and contributed content for external publications 
  • Write and optimize website content, ensuring clarity, consistency of messaging and alignment with SEO best practices 
  • Support messaging development for new products, features, campaigns, and go‑to‑market initiatives 
  • Maintain brand tone of voice across all written materials 
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, and marketers to gather insights and turn them into effective content 
  • Edit and proofread content from other contributors to ensure quality and brand alignment 
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong attention to detail


What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter or content marketing professional, ideally in B2B, technology or data-driven organizations 
  • Journalism writing, editing, and interviewing experience highly preferred 
  • Strong ability to write clearly and convincingly for different audiences and formats 
  • Experience translating complex or technical topics into accessible, engaging content 
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills 
  • Familiarity with content management systems and basic SEO principles 
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines 
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment


Nice to Have

  • Experience in data, analytics, SaaS or enterprise technology 
  • Background in thought leadership or long‑form content 
  • Understanding of content performance metrics and optimisation
