We are looking for a skilled, curious, and versatile Content Writer to join our growing content team. In this role, you will be the voice behind our brand — writing everything from long-form blog posts and how-to guides to website landing pages, product descriptions, email newsletters, and thought leadership articles.

This is a role for someone who genuinely loves writing. You enjoy the process of researching a topic, finding the right angle, and delivering content that is clear, engaging, and genuinely useful to the reader. You understand that great content is not just about beautiful prose — it serves a purpose, whether that is driving traffic, building trust, educating an audience, or converting a reader into a customer.

We welcome writers from all backgrounds. If you have a talent for turning complex information into readable, compelling content and can manage your own deadlines, we want to hear from you.

What You Will Do

Content Creation

  • Write original, high-quality content across multiple formats including blog posts (500–2,500+ words), long-form guides, white papers, case studies, website copy, product descriptions, and FAQs
  • Research topics thoroughly using credible sources, ensuring accuracy and depth in every piece
  • Develop content that aligns with the brand voice, tone guidelines, and target audience
  • Produce content that is optimized for readability with clear structure, logical flow, and strong calls to action
  • Write engaging email newsletters and drip campaign sequences
  • Create scripts for video content, webinars, and podcasts when needed

SEO & Strategy

  • Conduct basic keyword research using tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest
  • Naturally integrate target keywords and related terms into content without keyword stuffing
  • Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking structures
  • Follow SEO content briefs provided by the marketing team or contribute to brief creation
  • Track content performance over time and suggest updates or improvements to existing pieces

Editing & Quality Control

  • Self-edit all work for grammar, clarity, flow, accuracy, and brand consistency before submission
  • Revise and refine content based on editor feedback in a timely and collaborative manner
  • Maintain a high standard of originality — all content must be 100% original and pass plagiarism checks
  • Proofread final drafts carefully before publication

Content Planning & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the content manager, SEO lead, and marketing team on editorial calendars
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate topic ideas aligned with business goals and trending conversations
  • Contribute to content audits by reviewing existing articles and identifying gaps or outdated information
  • Communicate proactively about deadlines, workload, and any blockers

What We Are Looking For

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Outstanding writing ability with impeccable grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure
  • Strong research skills — able to quickly learn new topics and write about them with authority
  • Ability to adapt tone, style, and complexity to different audiences and content types
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating range, quality, and versatility (required)
  • Comfortable receiving and incorporating editorial feedback

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of professional content writing, copywriting, or journalism experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to content
  • Experience writing for industries such as health, finance, technology, parenting, lifestyle, or e-commerce
  • Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress, Webflow, or HubSpot
  • Experience using AI writing tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to accelerate drafting (with strong human editing skills)
  • Comfort with Google Analytics or similar tools to understand content performance

Work Environment & Schedule

This is a deadline-driven role, not a clock-driven one. We do not expect you to be logged in from 9 to 5. Instead, we care deeply about the quality of your output and your ability to deliver on time. Most content assignments have 3–5 business day turnaround windows, with longer timelines for more complex pieces.

We hold a weekly optional team call for creative alignment, but attendance is not mandatory. Writers are given full creative freedom within brand guidelines and receive clear, detailed briefs for every assignment. You will never be expected to write about topics without proper direction and context.

This role is ideal for writers who thrive with autonomy and want to produce meaningful work from home on their own schedule.

Benefits & Perks

  • 100% remote — permanent work-from-home position
  • Completely flexible schedule — work when you are most creative and productive
  • Paid time off — 15 days per year for full-time, prorated for part-time
  • Paid holidays (10 federal holidays)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance (full-time employees)
  • Home office and internet stipend
  • Access to premium tools (Grammarly, SEO platforms, content brief software)
  • Continued education budget for courses, workshops, or writing conferences
  • Byline opportunities and portfolio-building work across diverse topics
  • Annual performance review with merit-based compensation increases
  • Collaborative, creative team culture with no bureaucracy
