As a Contract Examiner (Temporary), you will help expand access to high‑quality assessment tools by recruiting and assessing multilingual learners, contributing directly to work that helps educators better understand the strengths and needs of every student. Your efforts will support research that informs equitable evaluation practices and advances Riverside’s commitment to helping educators grow the potential in every learner.

This 4–5-month contract role focuses on recruiting eligible English Language Learners (ELL) and students with Language Impairments (LI) and administering standardized nonverbal and language assessments. You will work independently, manage your own caseload, and be compensated per fully completed case. Multiple contractors may be selected, and work can be completed anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit eligible ELL and/or LI students from your school or professional networks
  • Obtain required parent or guardian consent
  • Administer standardized cognitive and language assessments (ages 5–19) with fidelity
  • Follow all standardized procedures and documentation protocols
  • Submit completed materials in a timely manner
  • Manage scheduling, communication, and follow‑through across multiple cases
  • Maintain adherence to ethical testing practices and confidentiality requirements

You will collaborate with Riverside’s research team through asynchronous training, ongoing support, and clear procedural guidance to ensure consistent, high‑quality assessment administration.


RequirementsMust-Have Qualifications
  • Active experience working with ELL and/or LI student populations
  • Direct access to eligible students
  • Strong adherence to standardized testing procedures
  • Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
  • Reliable transportation for local travel
  • Strong communication and follow‑through skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active licensure as a School Psychologist, Educational Diagnostician, or Speech‑Language Pathologist
  • Bilingual ability (Spanish or other languages) helpful but not required
  • Prior experience administering standardized assessments
