Magna Legal Services is seeking a Contract Recruiter to serve as the dedicated recruiting partner for our Digital Court Reporting ("Maggie") business. This individual will own the full-cycle recruitment process for high-volume hiring, partnering closely with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire top talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment, is highly organized, communicates effectively with candidates and hiring teams, and can successfully manage a high volume of concurrent searches without sacrificing quality. This is a contract position expected to last approximately 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and hiring demand.

Primary Responsibilities

    Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process for Digital Court Reporter positions and other Maggie-related roles as assigned
  • Review and evaluate incoming applications to identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct high-volume phone/video screens to assess candidate qualifications, communication skills, and overall fit
  • Advance qualified candidates through the interview process while maintaining established service level expectations
  • Present candidate recommendations and provide interview insights to hiring managers
  • Extend verbal offers and manage candidates through acceptance
  • Candidate Experience

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams using the Applicant Tracking System (Lever) and Outlook
  • Communicate interview logistics, timelines, and next steps
  • Ensure a responsive, professional, and engaging candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding
  • Recruiting Operations

  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within Lever
  • Track candidate movement throughout the recruiting funnel and ensure timely disposition of applicants
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including assessments, reference checks, and other hiring documentation as applicable
  • Monitor recruiting metrics including recruiter screens, interview conversion rates, offers, acceptances, and time-to-fill
  • Prepare weekly recruiting pipeline updates and hiring activity reports for Talent Acquisition leadership
  • Hiring Manager Partnership

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, candidate profiles, and interview feedback
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and ensure timely collection of interview evaluations
  • Provide regular updates regarding pipeline health, recruiting progress, and hiring challenges
  • Help identify process improvements that increase recruiting efficiency and hiring quality
  • Talent Sourcing

  • Generate qualified candidate pipelines through job boards, referrals, LinkedIn, university partnerships, career fairs, and other sourcing channels
  • Proactively identify new recruiting sources to support hiring demand
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Additional Responsibilities

  • Support recruiting projects and Talent Acquisition initiatives as assigned
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to recruiting processes, systems, and candidate experience
  • Maintain confidentiality of candidate and company information

Desired Background & Qualifications

    Required

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a high-volume recruiting environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Experience conducting structured candidate interviews and making hiring recommendations
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (preferably Lever or a similar ATS)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Excellent follow-through and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Zoom
  • Preferred

  • Experience recruiting for customer-facing, operational, or service-oriented positions
  • Experience supporting remote hiring across multiple states
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar platforms
  • Prior agency or contract recruiting experience
