The Opportunity...

Centerfield is seeking a skilled, motivated, and experienced Contract Recruiter to join our fast-paced Talent Acquisition team for a 4-month contract. This is a unique opportunity for a recruiting professional who excels at full-cycle hiring across corporate and high-volume sales roles.

This person will play a critical role in two core areas:

  1. Supporting key corporate and tech hiring across departments like Marketing, Sales, Client Success, Media, and Operations

  2. Leading high-volume recruitment efforts for Medicare Sales Agents to support our 2026 AEP ramp-up within our QuoteManage business

The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, hands-on sourcing capability, and experience operating in fast-scaling environments—along with the flexibility to shift between corporate roles and volume-driven funnels.
How You'll Contribute...

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across corporate and sales functions—from intake to offer acceptance

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and align on selection criteria

  • Proactively source passive talent using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and other relevant tools

  • Drive candidate pipeline generation across corporate functions (Marketing, Finance, HR, etc.) and high-volume sales (Insurance/Call Center)

  • Screen candidates for both technical qualifications (hard skills, methodologies) and non-technical competencies (soft skills, role alignment)

  • Coordinate interview scheduling, feedback loops, and offer processes in collaboration with internal teams

  • Maintain and manage candidate data in ATS platforms (Ashby or Fountain) with a focus on clean reporting

  • Ensure a best-in-class candidate experience through clear communication, timely updates, and transparency

  • Guide hiring managers on recruiting best practices, labor market trends, and compensation alignment

  • Support process improvement and innovation within the broader Talent team

  • Monitor and report on recruiting metrics and progress toward hiring goals

What We're Looking For...
  • 2–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience

  • Proven success in high-volume recruitment, ideally within insurance, call centers, or sales-focused environments

  • Experience recruiting for both corporate functions (e.g., HR, Finance, Marketing)

  • Deep familiarity with sourcing strategies and recruitment marketing in competitive markets

  • Proficiency using ATS platforms (Ashby, Fountain preferred)

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and meet aggressive hiring targets

  • Experience partnering with hiring managers to improve process efficiency and hiring outcomes

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Bonus Points...
  • Knowledge of recruitment compliance and 1099/contractor hiring nuances

  • Experience hiring Medicare or Insurance Sales Agents

  • Familiarity with Fountain ATS and sourcing automation tools

  • Track record of success in recruiting across multiple locations and time zones

  • Prior experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced scaling company

Life at Centerfield...
  • Competitive salary

  • Award-winning culture & unprecedented team spirit (featured in LA Business Journal & Built In LA)

  • Paid charity and volunteer days (local mentor programs, adopt a pet, beach cleanup, etc.)
