You'll work across backend integration and mobile applications, delivering secure, high-performing solutions in a complex enterprise environment.

This is a senior, hands-on engineering role requiring someone who can hit the ground running, work independently and contribute across both C# integration development and native Android and iOS engineering.

To be considered, you must be based in Auckland and have current New Zealand working rights. Experience across both integration and mobile engineering is essential.

What You'll Do
  • Design, develop and maintain backend APIs, services and system-to-system integrations using C#/.NET.
  • Develop ASP.NET Web APIs with a strong focus on performance, security and reliability.
  • Contribute to native Android and iOS development using Kotlin and Swift.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Apply strong engineering practices, including clean code, testing, troubleshooting and code reviews.
  • Use Git and enterprise CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software delivery.
  • Investigate technical issues and contribute to production support and incident resolution as required.
What You'll Bring
  • Extensive senior-level experience in C#/.NET integration engineering, including APIs, services and system-to-system integrations.
  • Proven experience developing secure, high-performing ASP.NET Web APIs.
  • Hands-on mobile engineering experience across both Android using Kotlin and iOS using Swift.
  • Strong software engineering practices, including testing, troubleshooting and code reviews.
  • Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines within an enterprise environment.
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of technical delivery.
  • Clear communication skills and confidence working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
  • Experience with .NET 10.
  • Previous financial-services experience.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience supporting production systems and resolving incidents.

If you're an Auckland-based senior engineer who combines strong C# integration expertise with hands-on Kotlin and Swift development, we'd love to hear from you.
